Cultivate me. News Posted by Phil on 22nd January 2005, 01:49 Well, I finally got a multi-region DVD player that wasn’t assembled in a Japanese men’s room. I have a fully-functional sturdily-hacked Philips as an early birthday gift from my mother. So now get ready to play: Introduce the American to culture! What programs do you recommend I import? Don’t bother informing me about Dwarf, League of Gentlemen, The Office, Fawlty Towers or Father Ted…I’ve got all they have to offer. And I intend to import The Brittas Empire now that I’ve seen how funny it actually is on PBS… But does anyone have any other suggestions for great British comedy? Dwarf, League and Ted are my three favorites, if that helps generate suggestions.
