Trailers News Posted by Austin Ross on 16th February 2005, 16:13 The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trailer is now out. I wish I could say the same of Red Dwarf: The Movie.
I’d rather see the Dwarf movie any day. Not sure how well the Hitchhiker’s film is gonna do. It doesn’t look ‘cool’ enough or funny enough to grab a general audience (Tim from The Office whacking his head isn’t really THAT funny), but it is only the trailer.
The League of Gentlemen film trailer, if you haven’t seen it yet, is at leagueofgentlemen.co.uk. Looking forward to all three films. I guess it’s good to know I’ll see two of them within my lifetime.
“(Tim from The Office whacking his head isn’t really THAT funny)” I must admit that I’m not entirely pleased with the trailer. My main gripes are the music choices for the trailer. They really could have done a lot better. However, the bit with the Vogon ships surrounding earth and Martin Freeman yelling “What the *hell* are those things?” looks like it will really do that scene justice. And that, really, makes up for any other poor trailer choices.

I thought that scene looked fantastic. My favourite part of the trailer, if you don’t count spotting a BBC pass on Arthur’s bedside table.
Just finally got a chance to watch the trailer. Looks pretty promising, personally…but it’ll depend, I guess, on how much they let the CGI do the acting. I find it worrying that we didn’t get a hint of Marvin’s behavior.
