I don’t actually approve of uploading full episodes of Dwarf to YouTube. Clips, fine – but buy the DVDs if you want to watch a full episode. And don’t get me started on the twats who upload DVD extras…
A quick roundup of what’s going on, then. Which is not a huge amount, to be honest. Let’s all hope for a Remastered DVD Details article on TOS this Friday, eh?
That’ll be Jenna “It’s cold outside there’s no kind of atmosphere I’m all alone more or less let me fly far away from here fun fun fun in the sun sun sun I want to lie shipwrecked and comatose drinking fresh mango juice goldfish shoals nibbling at my toes fun fun fun in the sun sun sun fun fun fun in the sun sun sun” Russell winning an Olivier, which is quite a big deal, as it happens (certainly a bigger career milestone than “THE GUNS DON’T WORK! YOU LIED TO US!”, anyway), so congratulations to her. And her co-star, who also won, who was the Welsh scientist bloke who got killed by the zappy whip in The Christmas Invasion, which isn’t Red Dwarf, of course, although part of me wonders at times if this site shouldn’t be called “Ganymede & Titan & Gallifrey & Skaro”. Ahem, anyway, I quite fancy seeing it if it’s still on, actually. And am also quite disappointed to have missed Tamsin Greig in Much Ado About Nothing, but that’s another story.
Now that the competition part is over, GNP have done the decent thing and opened up Geek Chase for anyone to play.
So if you haven’t done so already, get cracking – it’s bloody fantastic, and will keep you occupied for hours. And since the competition’s finished, if you’re getting stuck, expect the G&T walkthrough very soon!
I got stuck on the Dibbley anagram, and only got the first password.
SO: FUCK. OFF.
Can anyone tell I’m going through old VHSes at the moment? Anyway, from an episode of Fresh Prince, made in 1992:
NURSE: Do you have any medical experience?
HILARY: Well, not exactly. But I’ve seen every single episode of St. Elsewhere.
Seriously, I’m not actually suggesting they nicked a Dwarf joke. But I am amused that it’s pretty much word-for-word identical…
