  1. “THE GARY GLITTER OF SPACE?: Craig Charles confesses”

    ….. :s

  2. And to think I paid £102 for a complete run (minus three issues!) at a DJ auction.

  3. Well this is nice. Isn’t it nice? I think it’s nice.

  4. It’s worth remembering that the Smegazines contain the only official Dwarf story content not written or co-written by either Rob or Doug. Well, unless you count A Life In Lamé. So they’re interesting from that perspective if nothing else.

(And hey! Nigel “Sonic the Comic” Kitching! I never knew he’d done RD stuff…)

  5. I interviewed Nigel for the fan club mag. He’s a nice chap. :)

    What about Prelude to Nanarchy?

The photo on page 20 of Volume 2 No. 9 is the most amazing Dwarf-related picture I have ever seen.

  8. I’m more concerned by the fact that there are NAKED BOOBS on the very last page of the very last issue.

    > What about YOUR FACE?

    My face is thankfully non-canon.

  10. Yeah, well, you wait until the Special Edition rerelease.

  11. It’s kinda cool that we got to see Rimmer as was originally envisioned – a black and white hologram.

  12. You’re welcome.. =)

I acquired them for research into a book, and thought, “hey, there’s no reason why these shouldn’t be made available to fans”; really the only ones hurting are people trying to sell their copies on eBay or something…

And the collectors are STILL gonna want to buy the tangible copies anyways. So they’re not going to be butthurt by it.

  14. Thanks for the link, always wanted to read one of these.
Almost got a set from ebay recently, but lost the bidding for it.

  15. I downloaded and saved them all, and tucked them snugly away on my hard drive. :))
