Glee.

I think even my shitty computer and shittier connection can handle these clips. Now, if you’ll excuse me…

‘Disaster for Coleman!’ is such a brilliant line.

I don’t know who wrote the first sketch, but the second was written by Moray Hunter and Jack Docherty. It’s pretty much the *perfect* one-minute sketch.

Blimey… Alan Partridge on The Day Today owes quite a bit to Barrie’s Coleman, doesn’t he?

That’s a good point, Capps. Particuarly as Coogan worked on Spitting Image, of course…

Meanwhile, here’s We’re scared of Bob - written by Rob and Doug (and Phil Pope, of course). What so many people forget about Spitting Image is that it’s not just about the puppets - it’s just a fucking great sketch show whichever way you look at it.

Hilarious. The Barrie at his best.

I don’t think it would neccessarily be shit if they brought it back.

But they would need a fucking good writing team for it to work, yes. The credits of early Spitting Image read like a who’s-who of 80s comedy.
