Okay, so last night, Dave started a run of Dwarf repeats, starting with a double bill of the first couple of eps of series one.
Now, seeing as we’ve been given a start date of ‘October’ for RDX, might it be too much to suggest that Friday nights at 9pm might be the timeslot given to the new series in the autumn?
If they carry on with the weekly double bills til the end of series VIII, that would take us to Friday 5th October, with a repeat of the Director’s Cut of Back to Earth on 12th October, with a possible start for series X on Friday 19th October. A bit later than any of us hoped, I expect, but fairly plausible. That would give X.6 a transmission date of 23rd November, with a DVD/Bluray release on 26th November, giving us a month to buy before chrimbo.
Or maybe I’ve just been thinking about this too much.

I was rather hoping for Tuesday/Thursday.
On a Friday it has Have I Got News For You as direct competition since presumably both will start at 9.
Suits Season 2 will have started by then so they’ll hopefully bolster each other in the ratings with adverts for one another.

Well, I was hoping for a thursday, too – as you say, the big hitters tend to be on Friday nights at 9pm, and not even Dwarf has a great chance against stalwarts like HIGNFY.
Mind you, I’ve noticed other ‘Made By Dave’ shows – Alexander Armstrong, Dara O’Briain – have been on on *Monday* nights, so fuck knows when we’ll see Dwarf.

Ah, ok. I hadn’t seen that, Seb, as the TOS Forums don’t load too well on my shitty phone. Oh well, at least I’m not the only one checking the calendar with a pen and notepad at my side.
EDIT: Actually, looking again at that TOS forum post, I think my post/this thread is better. Better title, for a start. ;)
