An announcement for those of you we don’t know on Facebook/in Real Life. FluffyWok and I are going to be welcoming a mini smeghead around 27th October. Here’s the obligatory scan picture. All photoshopping and caption offerings welcome. Especially as FluffyWok has already created a version of our baby saluting with the horns of ROCK. |m| |

Fuck me, that picture’s HUGE. Sorry, I have no bloody idea how to make it smaller. It’s clearly taking over…. |

Wow. Think of all the glorious, beautiful, wonderous things about having children… like when they grow up and leave home. :) Congratulations both! Bravo! |

A friend of mine had a 3D scan but not until she was about 30 weeks and I *think* she had to go private to get it done. |

Thanks everyone! ^__^ Funny, for a 12week scan it’s pretty clear (baby was having a snooze so kept nice and still for the pic). Those fancy 3D ones you have to pay for. Not on the NHS! ^__^ I even had to pay for those pics – a fiver!!!! |

Not sure we’ll do one of those 3D scans tbh. They freak out Sam too! ^__^ |

I’m sure Danny could knock you up (!) a nice 3D render from the scan ;) |

I can’t do lumpy organic things like babies in utero. I can do things with straight edges and simple textures :) I can render that baby scan onto a cube… |

I don’t know why you’re thanking me, I’m very shit at it. And also I apologise for describing your unborn as lumpy, Carrie and Kiran, what i meant was that the 3d scans you get of babies are lumpy and you wanted something similar… |

Congratulations! You’re the third couple I know of (well not really, know, but I’m sure you get what I mean) who is expecting lately… Come to think of it one of em would be overdue now, and might have popped already. |

What names have you got on the list? I recommend the friendliest name in existence, Dave. Or, y’know, something like that. (e.g David) |
