Erm… BBFC IV Classifications! News Posted by John Hoare on 19th April 2004, 18:40 Yep. Fucking weird. The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that two extras on the IV DVD appeared to have not passed through the BBFC; Can’t Smeg, Won’t Smeg and the menus. I always meant to investigate it, but, you know, I’m a lazy fuck. However – what should show up on the BBFC website on the 16th of this very month, but Can’t Smeg Won’t Smeg. A date, I would point out, that lies a full two months after the 16th February. So, what’s going on? After all, it does say “Classified 16 April, 2004” – is there some kind of sinister explanation for this? Ross McGinley returns in all his splendour and says “Sorry, it’s all been a total cock-up!” And where the fuck are the menus? Or was the piece classified ages ago, and the BBFC just fucked up the paperwork? (Which, admittedly, seems more likely.) I DON’T KNOW. HAVE FUN.
