If you’re allowing truly wild assumptions: An Americon pilot (or two). Granted, he already explained why they can’t go on the DVDs…but maybe… Or Universe Challenge, owing to some rights-agreement finally being reached.
I’m still trying to work out whether this will be something from the archives, or something new. A newly recorded audio play of Identity Within, Dad or Earth would ROCK BELLS. Having said that, just having scans of the original scripts on the DVDs would please me. So… Phil’s suggestions actually seem quite valid. It’s possible that GNP would have shown the big sales of the V DVD, which included the short Pilot clips, and persuaded Universal to let them put the whole thing on in exchange for a cut in the tasty profits. Who knows. I’m REALLY looking forward to July, now. It’s been bloody ages since we’ve had this sort of excitement around a definite announcment.

It’d be pretty ironic if we had Rob Grant involved with the DVDs of the series he had fuck all to do with. Although if it was footage of him fingering Chloe Annett’s foaming, gushing twat then I suppose it would make more sense. Actually, I suppose Rob COULD be involved if they talked about the Rob and Doug split (doubtful). Maybe there’s some rushes of Rob and Doug beating the crap out of each other.
That’s definitely a possibility as an extra (the website for the film mentioned they’d been approached by GNP years ago), but it’s not really worthy of this much hype.
That would be great. But it seems to me that Andrew’s statement was implying that it has more to do with clearance issues.
Andrew has just said on the Webboard that Rob Grant isn’t on the VII/VIII DVDs. So, that’s that idea gone…
Andrew did say that we will have to wait until July to hear about this extra… Tomorrow is the 1st of July.

One and a half days to go, then. This could well be MASSIVE, but it’s so odd that we no guesses that seem likely yet. This is going to be a total suprise and I can’t wait!
