That’s telekenisis, Kyle! I always expect KG to reply “telekeni-what-isis?”. Queen – No-One But You One by one, Only the good die young. A very beautiful and emotional song, ruined by images of Freddie Mercury kneeing Death in the bollocks. Although, to be fair, it does still make my bottom lip quiver when Brian sings “I ain’t never ever saying goodbye”. Sheryl Crow – Every Day Is A Winding Road I hitched a ride with a vending machine repair man. He said “dispenser 159, chicken soup nozzle clogged”. Soul II Soul – Back To Life (However do you want me?) Back to life, Back to reality. The last two songs aren’t on my playlist, by the way. I cheated.
River Runs Red – Midnight Oil It has nothing to do with “Red”, by the way – Midnight Oil’s a progressive rock band and it’s a song about the environment being destroyed. This song reminds me of the bit in the novel “Better Than Life” when Lister’s on Garbage World and realises he’s actually on Earth. So not Red Dwarf, but one segment of it. I’m not going to post the lyrics ‘cos it’s basically the whole song.
I have an mp3 of an Aussie band called Butterfingers, the songs called figjam mix or something. And it includes this lovely bit. Smoke me a kipper, bitch.

Some Eminem song (“Lose Yourself” perhaps?) has the line, “Back to reality, whoops, he comes gravity.” I’m not an Eminem fan at all but it got massive radio exposure over here and the Back to Reality line always made me smile.
