The clip is taken from a brief trailer for a new 6Music show, counting down YOUR top 40 favourite covers. Great. Although, the fact he recorded such a short piece suggests to me that he’s actually been in to the 6Music studios for an interview recently, and we’ve gone and missed it. Still, at least you know what his favourite cover version is! Thank God for us, yeah? Oh, suit yourselves.
It’s good how even though he’d done many other things since Red Dwarf he still introduces himself as “co-creator of Red Dwarf”.

What kind of a site is this that doesn’t even realise when the show’s CO-CREATOR appears on something? I mean come on, look at Outpost Gallifrey, when the words ‘Doctor’ and ‘Who’ are uttered by anyone at anytime, anywhere, it’s on the news page.
On OG, they have thousands of people emailing in every time the words “Doctor” and “Who” are uttered by anyone at anytime. With the odd exception, we have to go hunting for stuff ourselves. And hell, I found the “Norman does the Eagle Awards” thing, which even the official site hadn’t reported on, and no cunt even bothered to comment on that one.
I’m only taking the piss. I reckon OG has been too extensive at times with the news. But then again, is it possible to be extensive enough when there’s thousands of Whovians from around the world baying for blood? Just look when the news page closed, it really fucked with people’s minds.
