This is ridiculously off-topic, so I’m sorry – but I just can’t resist this. Watching The Eurovision Dance Contest the other night, I was reminded of this clip – a section of the talkback from the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest. (A warning for the swearing is probably superfluous on this site.)

The Dwarf link, of course, is that Chris Barrie plays a very similar character in Filthy, Rich & Catflap. Only this is for real. Scary to know that there were people who were actually like this.

Apparently, it’s used as part of a BBC internal training course, as an example of how not to react when things start going wrong…
