It’s not finished… News Posted by John Hoare on 8th March 2009, 20:28 …it’s finished. PLEASE BE GOOD KTHXBYE
Yeah, apparently they’re bringing the crew back and there’s talk of an episode where a dinosaur roams the ship!! and a dancing blue midget!!! Can’t wait :-)
>PLEASE BE GOOD KTHXBYE Seeing this directly below the Norm header made it about 1XMILLION TIMES MORE TERRIFYING. Like, even scarier than a water tank.
> Seeing this directly below the Norm header made it about 1XMILLION TIMES MORE TERRIFYING See, I told you the Norm header was scary.
> Seeing this directly below the Norm header made it about 1XMILLION TIMES MORE TERRIFYING > See, I told you the Norm header was scary. But not as scary as the Iain Lee header.
> I almost misconstrued this as the whole thing canned But there’s no audience laughter for the specials.
Found an old Geocities website, featuring information on old Smegazine storylines. Here are some consecutive storylines for the comic strips… Issue 5. Dead Man’s Bluff [Writer: Steve Lyons.] A supposedly beautiful lady visitor turns out to be a huge killing machine with a death list. Issues 6-7. Home of Lost Causes [Writer/Art: Nigel Kitching.] The crew of Starbug catch up with Red Dwarf, only to find it fully inhabited by the crew prior to the accident … or is it in fact a Polymorph trap? Issue 8. The Scoop [Writer: Jim Alexander.] Red Dwarf prepares to scoop up a neutrino-tachyon cloud which may propell the ship back to Earth three million years ago. Issue 9. Heady Metal [Writer: Steve Noble.] Starbug homes in on a message apparently being sent by Kryten and finds a massive metal civilisation based around the droid. Hmmm… 1. Doug Naylor finds his old collection of Smegazines. 2. Couple of quick adjustments. 3. Creates series 8 based on ‘Home of the Lost Causes’ (minus the Polymorph). 4. Ten years go by. 5. Couple more quick adjustments. 6. Creates ‘Back to Earth’, where a beautiful hologram turns out to be a killing machine (‘Dead Man’s Bluff’), then Red Dwarf scoops up a neutrino-tachyon cloud which propells them back to Earth three million years ago (‘The Scoop’) where a message being sent by Robert Llewellyn on his website helps them find a massive civilisation based around the TV series ‘Red Dwarf’ (Heavy Metal). 7. Hopes nobody notices.

Coincidentally there is coconut in my fridge right now. Not interesting, but I’m easily fascinated since we rarely have the hairy little critters in our house. This talk of coconuts reminds me of an episode of The Mighty Boosh. The ‘horror’ episode. ;}
