Rimmer? I hardly know her!

DwarfCasts from Ganymede & Titan

Join Ian, John, Seb, Cappsy and our own personal Andrew Collings, Mr. Julian Hazeldine, watch Rimmerworld and “chew” (talk) some “fat” (shit).

DwarfCast 31 – Rimmerworld (37MB)

This is the last of the current batch (starting with the Back to Earth: Directors Cut commentary), so I’ll look forward to recording our next batch sometime between now and the next time performingmonkey is correct about something, WHICH WILL BE A LONG TIME, OBVIOUSLY.

  • Thanks Capps. Thapps.

I’d forgotten all about Dare to Believe. I vaguely remember liking a sketch about a football coach who just advised his team to be better at football, and score more goals than the other team etc.

  • Another great commentary there guys, never really thought how similar Rimmerworld was to Terrorform.
May be that what’s up with VIII there is no Rimmer heavy episode? IV had Meltdown, V & VI’s are mentioned above and VII has Stoke Me a Clipper but VIII was missing one. The only candidate could be Cassandra but given that was Nanobot Rimmer, I’m not sure it counts.

Sure it does! He is still very much Rimmer. A great episode too, up there with previous series episodes. I agree series 8 could have done with more of them though. (Good episodes, I mean not necessarily Rimmer episodes. I don’t dislike series 8, but it was probably the weakest for me..)

    >Yeah, agree, really hoping there’s a strong Rimmer-centric one next year.

    >I’d love to finally see a proper Cat-centric episode, too.

I agree on both counts. I wouldn’t mind seeing what happened to the remaining Cat Ark too.

  • I’d love to finally see a proper Cat-centric episode, too.

    Yes.

Unless it’s Identity Within, in which case no.
