G&TV: Razzmatazz

G&TV logoThis month’s G&TV is short and sweet. No prolonged, tedious analysis. No choosing something purely so I can rant about something which has been annoying me this week. Just a little something you almost certainly haven’t seen before.

With many thanks to Gary Rodger for the clip, here is Mac McDonald appearing on Tyne Tees kids music programme Razzmatazz in 1981.

  4. He’s got a pretty good singing voice, hasn’t he.

  5. I feel like there’s an alternate reality somewhere where Mac McDonald was one of the nation’s most famous and beloved variety entertainers of the entire 1980s and 1990s.

  6. Red Dwarf supporting cast members appearing on kids TV shows is a bit of a niche market but recently saw this look at John Lenahan hosting The Super Mario Challenge (dressed as Mario):
