DwarfCast 115 – The First Three Million Years DwarfCasts Posted by Jonathan Capps on 4th September 2020, 15:15 Subscribe to DwarfCasts: RSS • iTunes Following on from our 11 year old revelation that DwarfCasting a review is so much easier than writing one, we present to your our thoughts on the documentary series The First Three Million Years. In attendance was the definitive Ian Symes, reused footage of Danny Stephenson from the DVD docs and a five second mention of Jonathan Capps tacked onto the end. DwarfCast 115 – The First Three Million Years (59.4MB) As will be made clear when you start listening, this was originally intended to be the first part of a bumper DwarfCast which has now been split in two. But fear not because DwarfCast 116 is already available, in which we mourn the passing and celebrate our happy memories of one Seb Patrick. Show notes Katy Brand discusses Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers on the Rule of Three podcast (not Power of Three like Ian says). Report on Nick Helm hosting the Series XII premiere. Correction: Ed still holds the record for number of episodes directed (40) over Doug (26 inc. co-directed). Correction: Clive Dunn was in fact 48 when Dad’s Army started, but the point still stands.
Following on from our 11 year old revelation that DwarfCasting a review is so much easier than writing one Fingers crossed that Norm is still an avid Dwarfcast listener.
Yeah, I was expecting at least five minutes on the closing theme. And you call it the Definitive Look at the Definitive Look at Red Dwarf. Agree with pretty much everything said in this podcast, anyway. You’re all very clever blokes.
A good, fair review. Nish Kumar seemed to be a real fan when he watched Red Dwarf with his lovely eyes with James Acaster on We Have Been Watching.
when lister says i’m getting baked potatoes, it is clearly an injoke reference to the wrong way that rg pronounces the name of the show
A good, fair review. Nish Kumar seemed to be a real fan when he watched Red Dwarf with his lovely eyes with James Acaster on We Have Been Watching. Ah, of course! I had a feeling there was something previously connecting Nish to Dwarf but couldn’t put my finger on it.
Yeah, “apparently” AND quote marks around comedian! Devastating. If Nish sees that he’ll be wishing he could come up with anything that good!
