It looks like some kind of cake to me actually, maybe parkin or something. It’s quite impressive that it’s not gone all “Lister’s sausages” and turned into a mouldy carpet in someone’s cupboard. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-RED-DWARF-SPACE-WEEVIL-USED-ON-SET-PROP/143598532668?hash=item216f23b83c:g:iQIAAOSwcONetDO9 May 8, 2020 at 12:05 am #258785 HamishParticipant “Condition: Used” May 8, 2020 at 10:37 am #258786 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant I find it hard to believe that something that was edible in 1993 is still recognisable now! May 12, 2020 at 2:48 pm #258790 Plastic PercyParticipant I could’ve sworn that somebody – either the props guy or Craig in the commentary – said that the space weevil was made from marzipan. May 12, 2020 at 3:16 pm #258791 GlenTokyoParticipant Yeah that rings a bell. Would make more sense too, because it’s just like modelling clay that you can then eat, all the sugar would preserve it too. Not sure I’d fancy having a big bite of marzipan though like Craig did, still, it’s better than tuna covered in pork pie jelly I suppose. May 13, 2020 at 9:44 pm #258793 Plastic PercyParticipant I could really go for a piping hot steak and kidney pie like he eats in ‘The End’, though. May 14, 2020 at 5:10 am #258794 HamishParticipant But not for THE piping hot steak and kidney pie he eats in ‘The End’ though. May 14, 2020 at 12:12 pm #258796 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant I’m personally holding off for a half eaten tomato to be put up for auction May 14, 2020 at 2:04 pm #258797 DaveParticipant The strawberry I bought looked better on screen. Or maybe it didn’t. May 14, 2020 at 10:22 pm #258799 DaveParticipant Someone has actually paid £100 for it. Amazing. May 15, 2020 at 10:23 am #258800 Ben SaundersParticipant If they ever find Lister’s pea I bet it’d go for a few bob May 15, 2020 at 11:20 am #258801 DaveParticipant I might list a flask of urine re-cyc. May 15, 2020 at 11:21 am #258802 DaveParticipant Or one of Craig Charles’ toenail clippings. May 17, 2020 at 2:39 pm #258803 Plastic PercyParticipant What’s that saying? If you have three flakes of Chris Barrie’s dandruff, you’re a rich man.
