Those motion control shots weren’t cheap were they.

Definitely worth it though.

I wonder what it costs now, back then it was probably about the only thing that used a computer as we’d recognise today, like an IBM compatible or something, pricey business then.

The video FX were likely done on something like a Quantel Paintbox (cheaper BBC equivalent?), or could they do motion control too?
