Long story short, the TARDIS being on board during the events of Demons & Angels led to the creation of a ‘low’ Doctor that then regenerated into the Valeyard.

(Of course, this doesn’t address the idea that the copies in D&A had a limited lifespan of about an hour, but why let that ruin a good fan theory.)

Doctor Who plot holes solved by watching Red Dwarf and being liberated from worrying about continuity.

I love the fact that PlymouthLive is currently host to loads of random Doctor Who ‘news’ stories.

“I’ll give you one chance at honesty. Did you insinuiate my wife was an evil Time Lord on the Plymouth Herald comments section?”

I’m disproportionately annoyed that an obviously knowledgeable and passionate fan spells it ‘Kryton’

I’m disproportionately upset that an obviously knowledgeable and passionate fan refers to Kryten as an ‘it’.

Technically, shouldn’t we all be referring to Kryten as ‘she’?

Me? The phrase isn’t ‘spells him/her Kryton’

Though thinking about it, Krytes kind of is an ‘it’ I suppose, he’s a machine with AI, kind of like Rimmer….and I mean animals are referred to as ‘it’ so maybe Cat should be too…..

    The Its From The Dwarf?

    The Its From The Dwarf?

No no no, gender and pronouns thereof are a social construct, therefore anyone who has the same level of sapience and consciousness as humans can use gendered pronouns for themselves with equal validity as living humans. In the case of Kryten it’s arguable that he’s male because he’s programmed to be, but it still counts.

But yes, it’s clear you meant “it” to refer to the word Kryten not the character Kryten.
