This is awesome. A fella sold concert tickets on ebay, and then the buyer said she didn’t want them any more…..With not enough time for a resale, what do you do?

That’s something I wish I’d thought of when I lost £150 over some tickets for a London show. Last minute listing, a relisting, all that, the winning bidder then said they couldn’t afford to pay me…

I could have mailed them for absolute zilch, seeing as they were going to be wasted. But no way was I just gonna mail them to the bidder, you never know if that’s the kind of trick someone plays hoping to get tickets for nothing, then goes and touts them for shedloads, and even though I would be gaining nothing either way, I would still rather tear the fucking things up in my hands (which I did, lol, whilst openly weeping mind…) than just give £150’s worth to some random timewasting bastard!!

Could be the first time it happened to him. And it’s from an anonymous account isn’t it? Anyhow not saying it is or isn’t, just that it puts a different spin on it and the comment she made about paying a bit too much or whatever the quote was made me wonder. Oh, and the throwaway about not being able to sell to the other bidders because they were no longer interested. Seems a bit odd, but would make more sense if the price was over-inflated.

Either way she sounds like a bitch, he sounds a cock proud of himself for committing a criminal act.

Still as Danodin says above it does happen. So cynical na, just a bit suspicious of any ticket sales via ebay generally.

Made a successful deal of V festival tickets a few years ago. Organized to meet the guy in a car park somewhere (only later thinking ‘hmmm, was coming here on my own a good idea or what?’ lol), he gets out of the car with his dad, he only looked about 15 though the dad looked pretty mean… anyway they ended up giving me more money than they’d bid! I felt like Phil Mitchell or summink. :P
