This has come up (stop it) once or twice previously.

I don’t know that anyone here has actually read it, although if the Dwarfcast Book Club ever returns then it must be a prime candidate.

I would have done for a laugh ages ago if they weren’t so short, which I object to on principle. Stretch your thin joke across a proper length book ffs.

Jeez, I didn’t even notice it was 19 pages. That’s just over 5p per page.

We actually tried this, we were going to read (out loud) a chapter at a time and react, like My Dad Wrote A Porno. But we recorded the first one and realised it wasn’t really us, and it’s also not very funny.

The paperback version is 100 pages, that’s a novella right? You can put it on a shelf & everything.

The lost Dwarfcasts need their own Bodysnatcher Collection.

Four pages of Byte One, Chapter 1 can be read in the Amazon free sample, then it reveals that the last three pages of the book (at least) are blank.

I did laugh at seeing the author go by the more formal “Richard Bush” on the copyright page, so that’s a good start.

My book club picked a book last year that was self-published and the paperback edition said something like 160 pages, but on the Kindle it was only 90. Massive font, you see.

I dread to think how big the font is to turn a 19 page Kindle book into a 102 page print one….
