Nearly 25 years ago, there was an animated sitcom called God, the Devil and Bob. In it, the Devil (who was played by Alan Cumming) had a henchman/lackey called Smeck. Except I originally misheard it and thought he was called  “Smeg”.

Last week, when I saw Furiosa (good film!) and heard that character referred to as Smeg, I was reminded of that.

I liked Furiosa, but not quite as much as Fury Road. Some great moments though.
