    RIGHT.

First thing’s first: Lost is awesome, and I will personally mud wrestle anyone who thinks otherwise. Some may say this is a shallow attempt to get some mud wrestling action… I couldn’t possibly comment.

Secondly: season 4 is starting in 2 weeks and I am this: VERY EXCITED. Season 3 was probably my favourite so far (especially after the frankly pants first 6 episodes were out of the way) and now that season 4 will be the first new episodes we’ll see that have been planned with the fixed end date in sight, we’re apparently going to get a much more pro-active, answers orientated show, which I reckon we’re due after three seasons (admittedly mostly awesome) slow burning question building.

Thirdly: Graham McTavish is going to appear in a flashback/flashforward and may apparently return later on. Hurrah for the first solid Dwarf link to Lost!

The writers strike is over! And they have already started the second 8 episodes of Lost! Lovely!

They will only shoot 5 meaning season 4 will comprise of 13 episodes total.

It’s to be expected in the limited time they have in the year. 13 is better than 8, but not as good as 24.

    24 episodes or “24” the series. I’m confused…

They were only shooting 16 anyway. Seasons 4, 5 and 6 were all slated to be 16 episodes each. This was ABCs clever, cunning way of stretching 2 years of a show over 3 years, because they’re clever and cunning, much like Sci-Fi and their treatment of Galactica (‘we’re not going to give you a 5th season but we’ll stretch your 4th over 2 years because we’ve got no other programming of any worth!’)

Speaking of Galactica, apparently a post-season 4 TV movie/DVD hasn’t been ruled out yet. Something along the lines of Razor would be amazing to end the show on. I just don’t think they can finish this satisfactorily in the 20 episodes we have left.

I hope that Virgin bring the last Galactica series to On Demand like they did Lost. That was another show I lost when Sky 1 was withdrawn.

At least I got to catch up with Lost though. Better late than never! Pardon the cliche.

Episodes, I never got into 24.

I never got into 24 either, although I’ve heard many good things about it.

A friend of mine suggested a season of 24 depicting Jack Bauer’s day off. He could spend the first four or five episodes having a lie-in, then he gets up, has a shower, gets the paper, watches some daytime telly for a bit…

24 is something you need to watch on DVD IMO. I just can’t cope with watching one episode at a time! If you’ve never seen it, get the season 1 DVD set and plough through them. You won’t regret it (unless you don’t like terrorist/government/spy/action type stuff)

They should have put this on the DVDs.

Lost is one of my favourite television shows. Seeing Desmond fiddle about with the computer in “Orientation” while Jack questions him about the Hatch is one of my earliest memories of watching TV.

I think the ending was pretty perfect too, and they weren’t dead all along.

    > To be fair, there are a lot of things you can?t do on TV unless you?re RTD (or Steven Moffat). CHRIS CHIBFACE TAKE NOTE

Not “can’t” there so much as “shouldn’t”.

    How prescient.
