Was quite good… but something caught my ear – at the beginning there are two men located in an isolated radar listening post in the middle of Antarctica. The post has the codename “Red Dwarf”! Think it’s definitely a reference as the scene is littered with them. When they pick up an alien signal it’s referred to as a “Code Nimoy”! So somebody at Dreamworks is a fan. Oh well. Wouldn’t be the first time. April 25, 2009 at 6:49 pm #98126 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Also, they used the “Brown Alert” gag. April 25, 2009 at 6:52 pm #98127 Ben PaddonParticipant Not the best gag to borrow from Red Dwarf, it has to be said… April 26, 2009 at 4:30 am #98159 Mr FlibbleParticipant I really must get round to watching this… April 26, 2009 at 6:35 am #98162 Ben PaddonParticipant I saw it today. Tons of fun. April 27, 2009 at 9:44 am #98219 peas_and_cornParticipant Is it a sequel to Alien Vs Predator? April 27, 2009 at 9:46 am #98220 DaveParticipant And what is all this Five-ing going on? Is it prison slang? April 27, 2009 at 11:18 am #98221 Jonathan CappsKeymaster > ?Code Nimoy?! But… he was in Star Trek! April 27, 2009 at 6:07 pm #98222 pfmParticipant I’ve only just watched Kung Fu Panda, which was pretty good (though absolutely insane in the ADD generation type way in places!) and now with the great reaction to MvA it looks like Dreamworks have finally got their shit together. April 27, 2009 at 6:32 pm #98223 TheLeenParticipant Kung Fu Panda is great. The style… great. April 27, 2009 at 9:21 pm #98231 DessieParticipant I just saw it in 3d. Definitely the best animation in the last few years.
