Just downloaded Audiosurf again off of Steam at 1.2MB/Sec, the fastest i’ve EVER had in this house. EVER! On the subject of Audiosurf actually, who else uses it? I want to add you as friends… Creator Topic Viewing 35 replies - 1 through 35 (of 35 total) Author Replies November 6, 2009 at 12:31 pm #105710 Jonathan CappsKeymaster ME. November 6, 2009 at 1:36 pm #105714 Danny StephensonKeymaster When I play Audiosurf, I see this thing floating about… And all I want to see is this… November 6, 2009 at 3:16 pm #105716 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Audiosnarf is……? November 6, 2009 at 3:39 pm #105717 Danny StephensonKeymaster Taken from Teh Wiki: Audiosurf is an award-winning puzzle/rhythm hybrid game. […] Its track-like stages visually mimic the music the player chooses, while the player races across several lanes collecting colored blocks that appear in sync with the music. […] The music used in the game is chosen from the user’s own library, from almost any DRM-free format, as well as standard redbook CDs; in addition, Audiosurf includes the entire soundtrack to The Orange Box as part of the download. in other words, it’s awesome. The game detects things in the audio file you’ve given it and creates a track that work in sync with it. Clever shit! Mr Blue Sky played through Audiosurf – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkiMMjkljag Pendulum: Slam – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu9aiMbUlCU (The Buildup is well worth it) Depending on the song you pick depends on how easy the game is. For example, pick something heavy and fast and more than likely the game will be difficult and quick. (Through The Fire and Flames is again one of the more difficult levels) Pick a soft chillout song and the game is relaxing and calm. It’s just everything I need out of a game. November 6, 2009 at 5:25 pm #105723 SimonEParticipant I have Audiosurf/steam. Look for simonjedi1, I have the BTE dwarf as my avatar November 6, 2009 at 5:34 pm #105724 ori-STUDFARMParticipant BTE dwarf? What, Chloe Annett? November 6, 2009 at 5:42 pm #105726 Pete Part ThreeParticipant I used to have it, but installed Windows 7 the other week and have yet to reinstall this. November 6, 2009 at 7:19 pm #105740 JamesTCParticipant I got it before, I tried playing ‘Stand by Me’, I would pick one of the fastest paced Oasis tracks wouldn’t I? November 6, 2009 at 8:55 pm #105750 Ben PaddonParticipant I love AudioSurf. Haven’t played it in ages, though. Hmm. Might bust it out again now. November 7, 2009 at 12:35 am #105766 Smeg4BrainsParticipant My favourite track to play on this so far has been The Eve Of War from Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds November 7, 2009 at 12:50 am #105768 AndrewParticipant > Jeff Wayne?s War of the Worlds This is excellent. That is all. November 7, 2009 at 1:12 am #105769 Smeg4BrainsParticipant I saw it live earlier this year. November 7, 2009 at 1:45 am #105773 The PerformingMonkeyParticipant So did I. In bloody good seats as well. Though Richard Burton’s voice is still the best thing about the whole show. His CGI’d face at the side was pretty cool. That bloke from the Moody Blues can still sing, too. November 7, 2009 at 4:55 pm #105788 ori-STUDFARMParticipant That bloke from Moody Blues had a bad throat last time I saw it live. His singing ability for that night was questionable…. . . . …….Was fine the year before though! November 7, 2009 at 7:49 pm #105791 BlisschickParticipant Moody. Blues. Rock. November 8, 2009 at 6:03 pm #105815 TheLeenParticipant I’m getting Audiosurf now. November 9, 2009 at 9:50 pm #105868 Danny StephensonKeymaster The Fortdax remix of Nathan Fake’s You Are Here (otherwise known as the theme to Charlie Brooker’s Newswipe) is fucking brilliant to play on Audiosurf.
