Don’t know if anyone has ever tried this game but the premise (well, my premise anyways) is to get as few links from one TV personality to another. Tenuous links are frowned upon as long as there is a genuine link to another person, writer, director, whatever in there, not like “Mick Jagger once sneezed on Princess Anne who…”. For example:

    John DiMaggio > Patrick Stewart:

John Di Maggio is the voice of Bender in Futurama which has been written by David A Goodman, who was also a writer on Family Guy , to which Patrick Stewart was a guest voice.

There’s no true answer. But the shorter, the better. It can be up to 6 links but no more. I just wondered how far this could go…

Whoever gets the link in 6 or less sets the next link.

    So i’ll start off:

SIMON PEGG > CRAIG CHARLES in 6 or less moves.

    Good luck!

*Simon Pegg was in Guest House Paradiso with Rik Mayall & Ade Edmondson
*Rik & Ade were in the Young Ones which was produced by Paul Jackson
*Paul Jackson also produced Red Dwarf, which starred Craig Charles (no, really)

    Pete Part Three

    Pst. Set a new link

    Ian Symes

    I’ve got a better one.

    * Simon Pegg starred in Asylum, also starring Norman Lovett
    * Norman Lovett was in Red Dwarf, as was Craig Charles

    So there.

Next: Robert Webb > Leslie Nielsen.

(I’ve no idea if that one can be done – I glanced at my DVD shelf and picked out Peep Show and The Naked Gun at random…)

    Pete Part Three

    * Robert Webb was in My Family (for his sins) with Robert Lindsay
    * Robert Lyndsay was in Extras, as was Stephen Merchant
    * Stephen Merchant was in 24 as was Dennis Hopper

Woody Allen once purchased a golden showers-themed pornographic magazine from Terry Wogan

Terry Wogan doesn’t like Chinese People

Chinese People look a bit like Ming the Merciless.

    Pete Part Three

We’re a real Mickey Mouse operation, aren’t we?

Mickey Mouse? We ain’t even Ming the Merciless.

Right, so as to treat Andrew’s one seriously :

Kathy Burke was in Sid & Nancy with Gary Oldman (and appeared in Nil by Mouth, directed by him)

Jeff Goldblum starred in The Fly, and I really don’t need to tell Andrew of all people who directed that.

Zippy from Rainbow > John Hoare

    >Zippy from Rainbow > John Hoare

They both have at least one zipper.

There, did it in one. And I didn’t make a cruel joke either.

    Alan Carr – Russell Crowe.

    > They both have at least one zipper

    Not good enough…

Zippy appeared (with George) in Ashes To Ashes, starring Keeley Hawes, who’s surname, when you forget about the ‘s’, sounds a bit like ‘Hoare’, which is the surname of John Hoare.
No wait…she was mistaken for a whore – the character, not the actress, though Keeley Hawes IS fucking fit so I could see why she might… – which sounds like ‘Hoare’. (how about that for a revelation…)
Hang on….this is it properly now…Keeley Hawes was in ‘Hotel!’ with Henry Naylor, who has the same surname as Doug Naylor (co-creator and writer of the popular ’80s scientific sitcom, Ded Rwarf), who appeared as a character in some wank fan film on a DVD at some point, which featured John Hoare. Done!!

I’m too fucken’ good at this game.

    Colin Farrell > Geoffrey McGivern

    Zombie Jim Undead

If the first and last links are true, I’m blood impressed.

    Seb Patrick

The first one was in Eamonn Holmes’ Wiki entry. The last one I know because I was in Snoopy!!! The Musical once (I played Charlie Brown). And if you don’t believe me… the animated version is on Youtube! (the line in question comes at around 2:24).

and… My Little Pony: The movie?

That one skipped me by. Thank God. (To be fair I’m not the target audience. The pink frock and ribbons are all hearsay, I swear.)

    >Dave, you?re supposed to do the last ?open? one, not ones that have already been done!
