Some of you may have noticed that it appears a certain user who recently joined the forum may in fact be a minor. Now, correct me if I speak out of term, but I don’t think anyone could reasonably disagree when I say that G&T is about as kid friendly as a night on the town with Charlie Sheen and Marilyn Manson.

So, uh any suggestions what we might do about something like this in case it happens in future? Maybe add a tick-box asking you to confirm your age on the registration page? I’m open to any ideas.

Oh, and while we’re on the subject… remember the “CBeebies Red Dwarf” memes? I’ll take any excuse to revisit those.

Was there ever any decision on keeping gif autoplay off by default on this site? Not sure if there’s an easy way to do it on my end on mobile. Enjoying so many gifs but it’s grown rather irritating having to wait a full minute to find out if my 50% chance of all the gifs loading shook out. What is this, 2000? Should I go pull up hamsterdance.com and hope it’s loaded by the time we’ve finished dinner?
