    Given that the second clip looks to have been made twenty years after the first, I could hazard a guess.

    It’s probably not an original Craig Charles joke either to be fair, it’s pretty standard. Just delivered well, by Craig.

    Pretty sure i heard it on an album of head to head comedy
    From Mel Smith & Griff Rhys jones which would place it on record
    at least a decade earlier than craig doing series VIII audience gags.
