In all seriousness I also was keen to see. Eventually due to sickness I have done so and just wanted to add that I have done and yeah, all a bit OTT but you can see why when you re-read some of the book. peter jackson et al involved are true passionate enthusiasts just the same as Grant Naylor and Red Dwarf and do justice to the original works that’s so ingrained in my memory. But right enough a bit taking the pish here and there.

I watched the ‘Wife of a Time Traveller’ film last night. (I won’t get to watch Looper or Primer until they’re on TV or something). Enjoyed Wife of a Time Traveller even though I might come across as a big blubby softy nancy saying so.

Speaking o’ time travelling I’m keen to see tonight’s Lemons episode!

Oh man, I’d love to see this but can’t get out much. Will look forward to whenever I do get to see it. Read a review that said it’s less action based sci-fi but plot wise more thinking sci-fi? and someone commented (I think on the Guardian website) copmparing it to the likes of Inception and a film I hadn’t heard of – ‘Primer’ – I looked this up and it sounds a frikkin awesome film, right up my street – has anyone seen this? Just mention as not seen either but if you liked Looper possibly like me look this up and add it to your ‘must watch’ list?

I read a book ‘Incompetence’ and get your point about it being hardly anything fresh or different from our mighty Red Dwarf. I did understand he wanted to do his own thing – eventually when his ‘Backwards’ came out I remember going to a signing. Wasn’t that many there (in Glasgow) and I saw him leave shortly after – he wore one of those fedora hat things which frankly, anyone wearing something like that really worries me for some reason? Anyway it was a long time ago. I’ve been meaning to re-read both Rob’s ‘Backwards’ and Doug’s ‘Last Human’ as I can’t really remember half the differences and try figure out what elements or Red Dwarf that Rob particularly brought to the table? Was it the more Sc-Fi or science plot ideas? the metaphysical conundrums? etc. Although half those books re-used the stuff already in the TV episodes so I don’t know!? It’s all a shame really.

It just saw it – The baws. Anyway some of the action music as stuff kicked off reminded me of the action-y music in the Red Dwarf ‘Justice’ episode – which is a bit of a coincidence? no?

Very sad. I’m not sure if I am inappropriate but I feel some dignity in his action and lessen the impact upon his loved ones? This sad story reminded me of the recent Locked-in syndrome victims losing ‘right to die’ case, the ruling that they cannot be allowed to die with medical help and the look on the guys face hearing this also heart breaking.

Wayy pricey but I really love the look of it and it’s as it should’ve been produced in my opinion. This has inspired me to attempt my own custom job in future. Looks the bollocks to me (I would omit the second arse-side ‘Red Dwarf’ sign) I bought a corgi starbug model and this is the only reason I would ever have any desire to buy corgi’s remastered-pencil-penis-whatever version only to chop it down and build ontop of.
