I get worried about picking up steelbooks nowadays as the quality and durability of the printing on them seems to have really gone downhill.
I’ve got some old ones that are fine but a few of my newer blu-ray ones have started crackling :(

Been trying to start a new thread for about 10 mins but just boots me back to the forum index when I submit it.

Not sure if this is an issue your end or mine (i’m using WiFi in Costa) tried with Chrome and IE, both do the same….

Peter Capaldi and Peter Davidson didn’t look very far away at all age wise which tickled me a little.
Very excited, I do hope he plays it dark and moody.

One of the more mundane tasks I perform at the end of my working day is filing off any abuse reports with online gamer’s Service providers, for breaches of their ISP’s T&Cs and FUPs for behaviour not a million miles from that displayed here on the G&T forum recently.
With the many less tolerant ISPs that tends to result in the complete removal of the offender’s internet services.

Just randomly chucking that out there.

The company I worked for selling classic car parts at events used to hire a mobile chip and pin machine (connects using mobile phone networks), was about £50 for a 4 day rental.

I know fan-club funds are limited but may be worth doing for one DJ so you can weigh up how much more (if any) was made by having the capability there, as we found out doing events people are generally lazy and also far more likely to impulse buy a few things if they can whack it on a card ;-)

Would also be useful for the auction, personally I’d be much more inclined to bid for all that lovely stuff I cant afford if I could whack it on the old monthly plastic…

Lovely work, I used to pretty good at scratch-building but I’m far to blind and shakey handed now (symptoms of a true wanker)

Strangely, given my life long penchant for all things sci-fi, I never went in for spacecraft though, mainly trains and ships.

I’ll have to go with redhead85 on this one, it wasn’t just a loss of the original cast though, some episodes were so unbelievably boring.
It’s a VERY rare occurance that I switch off in the middle of something, regardless of how terrible it is, but the last series especially saw my attention wandering and I usually buggered off to do something else.

An unfortunate end to what was a very good show.

My plasma likes to flick everything from my V+HD box into 16:9 regardless of which aspect setting I have it on.

I saw them on this tour at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre so would very much love to see this, still have my poster and signed programme.

They stayed and had drinks with everyone in the downstairs bar afterward.

Did they broadcast all this in 16:9 by the way? I’m never quite sure as when it comes to aspect ratios my viera does whatever the fuck it wants with them.

Their own on-line store was cheaper, sometimes considerably so, than their retail outlets.

A while back Marillion released re-mastered double CD versions of all the classic pre-’89 albums, they we’re £18.99 each in HMV but £14.99 from HMV’s website.
I got them elsewhere on-line around the same time for £7.99 a piece.

They were an appalling business that simply failed to remain even vaguely competitive, and thought iPod accesories and Novelty headphones would save them, good riddance.

As even my old man shops on-line now and he’s 82, I fully expect other overly pricey high street chains such as Argos to follow suit, and who the hell pays WH Smith’s prices for books?!

    fuck off then.

As someone who works in the games industry, runs a gaming website, and has a history in games design, 3D modelling and C programming, I may well have had something constructive to say, but as you’re clearly a complete gobshite I shall simply wish you well in your endeavours and give this thread a very wide berth.

They’re scattered all over the place sadly :(

On my main TV in the living room though I have: MegaDrive with MegaCD and 32X, Saturn, PSX, NES, Panasonic 3DO & original X-Box as they’re what I use most regularly. I dont have room for anything else there unless I ditch my Laserdisc and Betamax units for more console space haha.

Anything more than that ^^ set up at one time just starts to look horribly cluttered.

Computers as opposed to consoles are a massive ballache as obviously they need a lot of space, I tend to keep all those in storage and pull one out every now and again.

Ouch! I hope that wasnt just a stock A1200 with WHDLoad and the complete library torrent on it, I’d have sorted you one out myself for a good chunk less than that.
Of course if you bagged and accelerator and/or a scandoubler its about right…

Enjoyed the video either way! I shall whack it up in various places ;-)

Sounds much like our PCs at work, we’re locked out from doing anything now (despite the fact I put all these PCs and the network up here together) so we have vastly varying versions of chrome, firefox and ie on all of them :-/

They even disabled the USB ports meaning we cant run browsers off jump drives, however they have not disabled the DVD drives so we can boot them into any number of portable Linux distributions for shenanigans :-D

Wow, suprised to see that public computers are running versions of Firefox THAT old, some of them have pretty worrying security issues.

Site displays perfectly on my Pentium II running Windows 98SE and Firexox 8 by the way:
