The picture stuttering has been seen to happen on the adverts too. So it isn’t the master copies of the episodes that Dave have that is causing the problems. I hope Dave sort this out because picture/sound problems have been happening for months.

I’d say Nathan Cubitt going back to work on Red Dwarf is a good sign of a commentary. What other work could he be doing other than the DVD?

‘Out of Time’ is the greatest ending/cliffhanger to any piece of fiction ever.

I always prefer the xtended version of Series VII and that gives a great ending to ‘Tikka to Ride’. That’s a much better “revenge” on Lister for what he’d caused.

‘Cassandra’ has a great ending with the Rude Goldberg machine and Lister’s generic sci-fi spiel being completely shit on by causality.

They re-instated what was originally intended. Kryten blasting out of the ship on the spacebike. The effect wouldn’t have worked in 1989 which is why they dropped it. It didn’t work in 1999.

Have just pre-ordered my Blu-Ray at HMV for £17. Had a £10 voucher so it only cost me £7. With it being HMV, I am hoping it’ll arrive the Saturday before release. These days Amazon are just unreliable in that regard, I’m getting pre-ordered DVDs the Wednesday and Thursday after release.

I’ll be pre-ordering the Blu-Ray in the next few weeks. I have a £10 voucher coming up from the Appreciation Index survey I take part in so that’d probably have to be used on Amazon.

I’ll be buy the DVD version on release date, probably from Asda.

A release date of 19th November does seem to indicate that it’ll begin airing in the first week of October.

Still no news on a cast commentary. Perhaps they are waiting for Danny John-Jules to be available after he finishes Series 2 of Death in Paradise.
