I think thats what they have in mind in the end, though they’re not saying that now. January 8, 2008 at 6:24 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119176 thomasaevansParticipant Yeah, same thing happened with Rocky. Though my sisters still works atm. Did you see If there was any help on http://www.terminatorfiles.com? January 8, 2008 at 3:42 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119167 thomasaevansParticipant OOO…thats bad. Can I ask which edition you have? 2 Disc? Definitive/Special? Grey Cover/Red Cover/Blue Cover? Does’nt Fox have alot to do with Mgm UK Home Entertainment? January 8, 2008 at 3:20 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119164 thomasaevansParticipant No the school shooting scene definatley remains, only a school girl’s reaction shot was removed. Yeah not sure about Virgin 1’s plans as yet. They were trailing the pilot in their channel launch promo months ago. Well I thought for a pilot, It was brilliant! I mean… especially compared to some TV pilots. January 7, 2008 at 9:39 am in reply to: Anyone living in London? #119075 thomasaevansParticipant Thanks for all the great advise guys. Here’s how It stands. Myself and two mates all work at a (Nameless) Cinema, so we’re hoping to get a transfer to one of the central London branches until we get another job. HOwever Im looking to study at Drama School for a year, or mabey just job around with the acting like Im doing at the moment here in south wales. Its obviously much harder to find work in London, but luckily I have some friends who may be able to help me out. Bound to be seriously hard, but pretty exciting Im thinking. January 6, 2008 at 12:07 am in reply to: Anyone living in London? #119027 thomasaevansParticipant Appreciate that Ian, thanks. Tube has never worried me… tis piss easy. What you reckon rent-wise? On average? January 5, 2008 at 11:45 pm in reply to: Anyone living in London? #119025 thomasaevansParticipant Me and my mate are at an all time serious low. We’re considering moving to London (for various reasons). Can anyone give advice about living in the city? ANY advice is SERIOUSLY welcome and will be repaid with drink upon our arival! January 3, 2008 at 11:41 am in reply to: The Bodysnatcher Delux Boxset #118964 thomasaevansParticipant I DID! And while we are here… gotta say the menu design is definatley my favourite! The content is jolly good too :D December 29, 2007 at 12:53 am in reply to: BBCi Player #118845 thomasaevansParticipant Fuck you mick. Im just trying to say the BBC are lazy… If theyre gonna advertise the iplayer saying programmes are available for up to seven days after broadcast, get dwark on there. The End. December 27, 2007 at 11:29 pm in reply to: BBCi Player #118803 thomasaevansParticipant Penny…your welsh right? Im not gonna say something mean coz I love you :D But still..where’s Red Dwarf on BBCi? December 27, 2007 at 11:23 pm in reply to: Oh you Gwenlan #118802 thomasaevansParticipant And was’nt It good? I was starting to wonder whether BBC Comedy had either bad actors or bad directors. Its neither. Its bad scripts. My apologies to both actors and directors. ‘To The manor Born’ was an excellent reunion. A bloody decent script to the standard of previous episodes… 25 years ago btw. Im really impressed by that. However, did anyone see ‘My Family’ on boxing day? WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ABOUT?????? UTTER BOLLOCKS! December 27, 2007 at 9:24 am in reply to: New Red Dwarf Fanclub homepage layout… #118774 thomasaevansParticipant The only reason I left the fan club, was because I never recieved mags on time, plus they said I was getting 2 free issues for one reason and another. Never had them. And I left WELL BEFORE I ever had a computer and access to the internet. I do understand though, It’s alot of work to do. December 27, 2007 at 1:29 am in reply to: BBCi Player #118770 thomasaevansParticipant Copyright for what? Specifically? I mean loads of BBCi Is made my independent company’s like Grany Naylor. December 27, 2007 at 12:10 am in reply to: BBCi Player #118766 thomasaevansParticipant Coz ofcourse… I have no otherway of watching them :|… its pure lazyness on my part. I cant be bothered to get off the coutch, go to my shelf, put the disc in… December 26, 2007 at 11:47 pm in reply to: Voyage of the Damned #118762 thomasaevansParticipant I thoughy Kylie’s performance was good. Genuinley wasnt expecting her to be a very good actress… but I think she was way better than what they were asking for. The theme is an interesting debate. December 26, 2007 at 11:45 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Fanclub homepage layout… #118760 thomasaevansParticipant Tbh… its hard to please everyone when It comes to website design. Yeah ok… the fan club website Is’nt very good. Points for effort ALWAYS in my opinion. But If you make a snazzy sexy flash site…thats bad aparently. You use Javascript…. thats bad. Use lots of sexy images… thats bad. But If It looks bland… thats bad. :S December 26, 2007 at 6:19 pm in reply to: Voyage of the Damned #118750 thomasaevansParticipant Seb….I love you, but your being an arse! What was wrong with Kylie? The theme was a good improvement I think. Problem was, series 1 theme was made using synthetic music and pre-recorded instruments. The theme from Series 2 (closing credits) was the National Orchestra of Wales (with practically non-existant percussion), with the Delia Derbyshire theme over the top. Problem was, them kept the original synthetic opening for series 2, and they didnt go together. Same for Series 3. This is really clear when you listen to the track on the Soundtrack CD (Vol 1), It’s hideously edited together. The new theme is a good balance of both… lots of nods to the 80’s Who theme, better climax towards the end… and the percussion really blasts! BUT If I had to choose… the full Series 1 theme was the best. My thought on the credits though, is because of the lengthy running time, they just rushed them for broadcast? If you try to watch them on the embedded BBCi broadcast on the website, you cant read them atall! December 26, 2007 at 11:42 am in reply to: OH MY CHRIST #118732 thomasaevansParticipant Calendar is rather good. THEY CHANGED THE DOCTOR WHO THEME. December 26, 2007 at 12:01 am in reply to: OH MY CHRIST #118726 thomasaevansParticipant Was gunna see it at work this week, but missed it. The director died the following day :S Merry Christmas everyone! FINALY had me Red Dwarf Bodysnatcher and Smeg Ups DVDs…both brilliant! Also had Calendar and framed seresi 5 cast pic :D December 20, 2007 at 12:33 pm in reply to: The Simpsons Movie on DVD…a double-dip waiting to happen? #118682 thomasaevansParticipant – “It?s just as likely that a great DVD set is also in the works right now, which wouldn?t have been ready for the holidays, and so Fox had them rush out a slimmer version to cash in on xmas.” Is the right answer. December 20, 2007 at 9:01 am in reply to: The Simpsons Movie on DVD…a double-dip waiting to happen? #118676 thomasaevansParticipant OH…and Its probably gonna be out in time for ‘The Simpsons 2’. Theres plenty more on the way. December 18, 2007 at 10:49 pm in reply to: AvP Requiem #118628 thomasaevansParticipant AVP…. was brilliant for selling action figures by McFarlane. Thats all. Pretty visuals dont do ANYTHING for me.. and as Dave say, If your not trying to improve on the previous instalments…why bother? December 16, 2007 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Green Green Grass #118565 thomasaevansParticipant BTW I aint seen mash for YEARS… so i cant exactly remember WHAT It was. December 16, 2007 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Green Green Grass #118564 thomasaevansParticipant But was’nt mash a comedy? Comedy I can buy. But a drama??? December 16, 2007 at 10:18 pm in reply to: AvP Requiem #118562 thomasaevansParticipant The R Trailer is itself… better than the first. December 16, 2007 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Green Green Grass #118561 thomasaevansParticipant > Oh, so you?re a Heartbeat man! Someone explain this… Is Heartbeat Sci-fi? December 14, 2007 at 11:18 pm in reply to: Green Green Grass #118492 thomasaevansParticipant BTW I only just realised Kryten/Talkie Toaster is in Green Green Grass. What a smeg head. December 14, 2007 at 11:18 pm in reply to: Green Green Grass #118491 thomasaevansParticipant Mick I did It again. Thank god it finished tonight. December 14, 2007 at 11:15 pm in reply to: AvP Requiem #118490 thomasaevansParticipant The BBFC have just classified this as a 15. If ’30 Days of night’ is anything to go by, that’s no bad thing. December 14, 2007 at 4:41 pm in reply to: Original Smegazine cover art on Ebay #118482 thomasaevansParticipant And mine IS a pose? December 14, 2007 at 12:19 am in reply to: Original Smegazine cover art on Ebay #118459 thomasaevansParticipant Good boy Seb. Btw Im an actor, not a model. December 12, 2007 at 10:25 am in reply to: Christmas Telly #118417 thomasaevansParticipant Anyone noticed the ‘Thunderbirds’ night on BBC Four January 2nd? With a kinda-new episode of stingray? Those were good family tv shows. December 11, 2007 at 12:28 am in reply to: Mrs Doubtfire #118379 thomasaevansParticipant Pray that NEVER happens. Im cringing at the thought of the Justice League. Aparently Michael Gough is in it to kinda keep it familiar. He’s better off out of it! December 10, 2007 at 9:10 pm in reply to: Mrs Doubtfire #118376 thomasaevansParticipant Agreed. The Red Band trailer is great, in that HORROR is a suitable title copared to the previous one. And I also like the Population trailer… check that. The samples from the score I’ve listened to online are exceptional. December 10, 2007 at 7:59 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf on BBC One #118373 thomasaevansParticipant John my man Im on the case. Watch this space! December 10, 2007 at 6:14 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf on BBC One #118368 thomasaevansParticipant Andrew…me being the sad bastard that I am… I have the recording of it with the BBC One Balloons ident. Ok I remember Pollymorph Remastered had it’s delayed premiere on BBC One. December 10, 2007 at 1:16 pm in reply to: Green Green Grass #118355 thomasaevansParticipant lol…those are the programs my parents watch. So when I pop over for the annual visit, they’re always on. That ok Mick? :D December 10, 2007 at 12:35 am in reply to: The End – The Smeg it is or not? #118340 thomasaevansParticipant Ok then… flipside since this IS going where no-one wants It to go. Watching BITR Part 1 with Mam, Dad and Sis… they all nearly collapsed in hysterics at the rat-arsed scene… and ‘both cheeks’… Plus watching Tikka with Mam and Dad, they thought It to be extremley clever, entertaining AND funny. Some of Eight is great… Some of Seven is heaven. See what I did there? ;) Put it this way, Id rather see Series VII or VIII of Dwarf, than of Hyperdrive, Green Green Grass OR Little Britain! December 10, 2007 at 12:27 am in reply to: Spitting Image Series 1 DVD #118339 thomasaevansParticipant Cheers for that. Will hang on for the Series 1 then. Dont seem to be listed on Play.com yet?
