Let’s hope it’s a good year for the Dwarf in terms of advancement, ahem, Doug. November 20, 2007 at 3:22 pm in reply to: Simpsons DVD #125791 TonguetiedParticipant Well, the Simpson’s has been dismal for the past 5 or so years, it had it’s golden age back in 1990’s. It’s dragged on now like an old lame horse than needs to be put down to save it a miserable death. The movie should have been out a decade ago. Such a shame to see an ok comedy go on to become a mindless parody. But alas, that’s what america does best. Some flashy extras aren’t going to pull me in. The Simpson’s has never been that side splitting to begin with, it’s been an alright comedy that got worse and worse, until it became boring. There are far, far better comedies out there to get on dvd, quality for money as well. October 24, 2007 at 12:27 am in reply to: Sad, sad, sad. #125153 TonguetiedParticipant Because I have decency, and I don’t want to get personal with people. October 23, 2007 at 11:08 pm in reply to: Sad, sad, sad. #125147 TonguetiedParticipant Personal, your the willy woofter around here friend of mine. Swivel on it you philistine. October 23, 2007 at 10:41 pm in reply to: New BBC comedy comedy guide #125148 TonguetiedParticipant To ganymede and titan, yes sir I’ve been around. October 23, 2007 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Sad, sad, sad. #125143 TonguetiedParticipant Touch wood Mick, touch wood. October 23, 2007 at 1:00 pm in reply to: Regarding Lister’s imprisonment in Stasis #125131 TonguetiedParticipant Happy now, Baz you nitpicker. October 23, 2007 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Regarding Lister’s imprisonment in Stasis #125126 TonguetiedParticipant Still he doesn’t need to brag, nor do you. You’re still human, you smell in the morning , therefore we are equal midear. October 23, 2007 at 12:58 pm in reply to: Sad, sad, sad. #125130 TonguetiedParticipant Doesn’t take much then petey. October 23, 2007 at 11:52 am in reply to: Regarding Lister’s imprisonment in Stasis #125123 TonguetiedParticipant Seb your delusional, you have the same rights as me, ”so there”. I bet you stuck your tongue out when you wrote that, petty. What you meant to say was, you have more of an arrogant air about you. And yeah I totally agree with you ha. October 22, 2007 at 3:46 pm in reply to: Regarding Lister’s imprisonment in Stasis #125114 TonguetiedParticipant I’ll leave when I wish, it’s my post, I created it and I have a right to send feedback, just like you. So hush up those snappers baby. I don’t mind the Lister Kochanski banter, I prefered Clare Grogan’s banter with Lister, well what there was of it, much more natural. October 21, 2007 at 11:53 pm in reply to: Regarding Lister’s imprisonment in Stasis #125088 TonguetiedParticipant Don’t write anything Johnny boy if you don’t like my posts. Savy? October 21, 2007 at 5:31 pm in reply to: Blue Midgit Giftset #125080 TonguetiedParticipant Poor effort my underlings. October 21, 2007 at 5:30 pm in reply to: Blue Midgit Giftset #125079 TonguetiedParticipant Nope. Still nothing doing, sigh. October 21, 2007 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Blue Midgit Giftset #125077 TonguetiedParticipant Nothing doing. Sorry. October 21, 2007 at 12:56 pm in reply to: Blue Midgit Giftset #125070 TonguetiedParticipant Get your own catchphrase Ian, kid. Or are you not acute enough to come up with one my long haired friend? September 15, 2007 at 9:53 am in reply to: Onto the matter now of Star Trek TOS if you will #124721 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah but it leaves fans wondering what boxset to get, the original or the remastered, I’m not forking out money for both. RD is different, the body snatcher boxset is a piece of RD history and probably the last dvd of the franchise coming out. With Trek now some fans are wondering what is official canon now, TOS untouched or the ”touched up” version? September 13, 2007 at 6:44 pm in reply to: Father Ted 2007 DVD box set #124692 TonguetiedParticipant The first hi-def release as I mentioned yes. September 13, 2007 at 6:31 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124690 TonguetiedParticipant And hey, ha, as if he wasn’t being sarky to me but yeah he can get off with it. Clever, very clever. Rethink my friend. September 13, 2007 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124689 TonguetiedParticipant Indeed, here here. Are you the back up? September 13, 2007 at 6:20 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124687 TonguetiedParticipant Witty to the bitter end my liege. September 13, 2007 at 6:19 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124686 TonguetiedParticipant Oh ha ha. September 13, 2007 at 6:12 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124680 TonguetiedParticipant Go climb a tree. He should still reply. September 13, 2007 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124681 TonguetiedParticipant I asked him a question which I’m entitled to and I will continue to do so in my efforts to fight for justice. How d’em apples? September 13, 2007 at 5:25 pm in reply to: Father Ted 2007 DVD box set #124677 TonguetiedParticipant There is meant to be an Archival HD/Blue ray version coming out in the near future which will supposedly be the final cut of the original films. And apparently they have been holding back doccos and featurettes for this particular release. I don’t mind when the creator remasters their vision, they can do it as many times as they like;it’s their creation after all. But when it’s done after the creator is dead, ie Star Trek TOS, it’s a different story. Then we get bastard versions of loved shows. September 13, 2007 at 5:18 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124676 TonguetiedParticipant That’s what he thinks. September 13, 2007 at 5:05 pm in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124674 TonguetiedParticipant Your copy and paste skills are so honed Andrew, what other skills do you possess? Perhaps you could share your incredible insight, tell us how you perfected your impeccable wit. So when are you updating blue midget, you still refuse to answer, why is this so? It’s your duty as a Official Siter to answer questions posed to you is it not sir? You know I’ll keep asking until the cows come home, so why not just settle it now my feathered friend? September 13, 2007 at 11:05 am in reply to: Regarding Starbug’s support legs #124667 TonguetiedParticipant You spoke to Rocky Ian, that is quite a pleasure indeed. Regardless the more insect like just didn’t pull it for me. I mentioned the episode in series 5 Andrew. September 13, 2007 at 7:56 am in reply to: Regarding the eighth of an inch Rimmer’s hair grows over the course of series IV #124661 TonguetiedParticipant Well my fellow dwarf fans I’m back, and I’m bad! Obviously, within certain sensible pre-set parameters…! And yes Andrew when are you going to update Blue Midget you never did get back to me. Hello Ian, I hope your not still upset over our itty bitty tiff we had, as I myself of course bear no grudges. Interesting topic I must say. I can only say that old AJ’s hair is due to the fact that he either wanted a change, ie he decided what the smeg. Or it’s just a continuity error on Chris Barrie’s part and his make up. P.S.it’s nice that you guys were remembering me…in some way or another. August 5, 2007 at 9:22 pm in reply to: Onto the matter of alternate series – How different would VIII’s setting have been? #124338 TonguetiedParticipant So what are your thoughts on VIII alternate setting Phil? August 5, 2007 at 9:20 pm in reply to: Regarding mellowness in Series 3 #124337 TonguetiedParticipant You doubt it Danny? Well I think the Rimmer/Lister relationship is the heart of the show. It is the foremost fundamental that makes the show so highly entertaining in my opinion.I realise all the developments that series 3 had, blatantly obvious. And yeah I never said it was less thrilling over all, only that some aspects were missing, Dannielsan. August 5, 2007 at 11:08 am in reply to: Regarding AJ’s Uniform worn in series 3,4 and 5 #124326 TonguetiedParticipant Indeed Somebody, indeed it is. Well done to that man, or woman? August 5, 2007 at 11:06 am in reply to: Regarding mellowness in Series 3 #124325 TonguetiedParticipant I think it would have been just as entertaining, we needed that force, the tension between AJ and Lister, that’s why series 1 and 2 were so successful. August 4, 2007 at 5:30 pm in reply to: Regarding mellowness in Series 3 #124299 TonguetiedParticipant Still you can’t take the man out of his contempt for Lister, he should have shown it more that season. Regardless of cooperation, and since when was AJ the sort of man who did anything else other than what suited him, out for himself, he’s the reverse of the Three Musketeers moto, ”all for one and one for all!”, he’s the contrary to it by all standards. The character works because he has such disregard for his companions, he’s the epitome of what they hate, and so he should have been the git we all know and cherish for season trois. August 3, 2007 at 6:39 pm in reply to: What did you prefer, Series 1-2 sets or the latter Series onwards? #124285 TonguetiedParticipant Yes my fellow dwarfers, the Observation Dome set was grossly under used, it’s criminal frankly. One of the best sets ever created for Dwarf. August 3, 2007 at 6:29 pm in reply to: Regarding AJ’s Uniform worn in series 3,4 and 5 #124283 TonguetiedParticipant easy mistake my man, easy mistake. Especially when you type as fast as I. Doesn’t hinder my knowledge of le Dwarf. But since your looking at every word so carefully, tell ya what i’ll do; I’ll go back and edit them, how is that for you fellow Alan Partridge fan? August 3, 2007 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Regarding AJ’s Uniform worn in series 3,4 and 5 #124271 TonguetiedParticipant Still I view the series as a whole, as one overall continuity. I have to say without a doubt that my favourite Rimmer uniform is his original space corp cotton duds. Those costumes gave the early series a sense of navy/militaristic feel. The latter series bar series VIII of course, felt very surreal with costumes, not just Rimmers but guest characters. The pastel look was believable. I just thought it would be an interesting part of Dwarf Mythos, I mean there is a logical explanation I’m sure, but it’s where he got the idea to change from his 2nd technician uniform into something that seems to have branched out from nowhere. I would just like your views on what that green/red costume were, where did they come from? August 3, 2007 at 5:47 pm in reply to: Regarding AJ’s Uniform worn in series 3,4 and 5 #124281 TonguetiedParticipant Ok, it’s fine. Still do you think that series 1 takes place in the same dimension as the latter series, Andrew, as an official siter it would be interesting to hear your opinion on that particular aspect of Dwarf mythos. August 3, 2007 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Regarding AJ’s Uniform worn in series 3,4 and 5 #124279 TonguetiedParticipant I don’t mean where did they come from literally Andrew, everyone who loves dwarf know who howard burden is. You honestly don’t think I know my Dwarf inside out do you? I mean what was the template in the story. ie Rimmer’s template for series one and 2 is space core issue. Still I believe Rob and Doug officially see the show as one continuity it is not disputed anywhere I believe. Except of course from the series 3 opening crawl which is mainly for gags. Plus I would argue that series 1- 2 combatesque uniforms were ultimately better. But that is my opinion of course. August 3, 2007 at 5:03 pm in reply to: Regarding mellowness in Series 3 #124276 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah one of the few scenes he does his ordering about. But what about Lister, it just feels like he is the same character, still up against Rimmer, but AJ let’s him off quite easily in this series. Rimmer just doesn’t snap back this time round. August 3, 2007 at 4:51 pm in reply to: Regarding mellowness in Series 3 #124273 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah, I agree with you with the return to his uptight nature in Series 4,but can you think of anytime in Series 3 when he is obnoxious or strict with Lister? August 3, 2007 at 1:49 pm in reply to: Onto the matter of alternate series – How different would VIII’s setting have been? #124264 TonguetiedParticipant Dark ages? Are you being serious? July 31, 2007 at 11:19 pm in reply to: Replacement header pic #124221 TonguetiedParticipant Cool I’ll bear that in mind. A smegazine cover art work would be great. Well at least a shot of the cast members heads from the mags, depending on resolution. I’m thinking of the header space here. But yeah, it’s cool, what was your first header? I can imagine it was a generic Lister or Rimmer shot? July 31, 2007 at 11:09 pm in reply to: Replacement header pic #124219 TonguetiedParticipant So can anyone submit you material for a header, as long as it keeps within the range of sensibility and Dwarf related? Or is it just administrators privileges. July 31, 2007 at 11:06 pm in reply to: Replacement header pic #124218 TonguetiedParticipant Of course. July 31, 2007 at 11:02 pm in reply to: Replacement header pic #124215 TonguetiedParticipant It’s a good choice for a header pic I must say, who’s decision was it? Or was a consensus? July 31, 2007 at 10:56 pm in reply to: Replacement header pic #124213 TonguetiedParticipant The great Richard Ridings. July 31, 2007 at 10:54 pm in reply to: Replacement header pic #124212 TonguetiedParticipant Yup I noticed it today when I came on, pretty snazzy stuff huh? July 31, 2007 at 9:34 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf used for a pile of shit ‘spoof’ article #124210 TonguetiedParticipant I have not met Le Kettle, sir. July 31, 2007 at 9:00 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf used for a pile of shit ‘spoof’ article #124208 TonguetiedParticipant Abysmal even though I say so myself.
