Or like many “anti-wokesters”, was he always of this mind set, but his public persona of being ever-polite stopped it rising to the surface? He said he was a Daily Mail reader in a 2008 interview, he’s been along for the ride. I hadn’t noticed the collar badges before, nor that they were wonky in the original. The first warning shot of Remastered. The Promised Land twice because it hasn’t been out that long. Back to Earth parts 1-3 three times, not the omnibus. November 28, 2024 at 10:07 am in reply to: Mundane observation dome #300594 WarbodogParticipant I know there’s no realistic way to figure this out but I would kill for hard data on how many times I’ve seen every episode. I know I’ve seen Fathers and Suns, Krysis, Siliconia and Timewave twice, but only because a community rewatch forced me to. Can of Worms too, but I don’t really mind that one. From the oldies, I’ve seen the non-Xtended VII episodes three to four times ever, same as most of the Dave era that I wouldn’t put on especially. When they have to be so narrowed down, I feel it’s probably not it. Lister meeting a Rimmer sibling? Somehow feels better. November 26, 2024 at 5:55 am in reply to: Things Exactly 2 Episodes Have In Common #300497 WarbodogParticipant I think Doug is one of the attendees added to McIntyre’s funeral. I was this year’s old when I learned… When confirming the fact, I enjoyed seeing the historic Wikipedia edits and discussions around a couple of fans insisting it wasn’t heads added to the funeral scene, but rather “shuffling rocks” or “amorphous blobs,” such was their faith in Remastered’s logic. November 25, 2024 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Mundane observation dome #300481 WarbodogParticipant I had the Remastered for the longest time. So there’s edits that still catch me off. Oh yeah, I have those for the first three episodes only, like Holly not darting around the screen on “Gordon Bennett, that was a close one.” I didn’t have the rest of Remastered on video, so it’s forgotten and just become trivia. November 25, 2024 at 9:18 pm in reply to: Mundane observation dome #300478 WarbodogParticipant I was surprised to learn that “I was a kid” / “Sounds like you were Billy the Kid” isn’t actually *in* Justice, when I couldn’t find it on the Smega Drive. I had the Smeg Ups tape long before the proper episode, so will still have seen that deleted line more times than most other scenes. Oddly, I don’t remember finding it amiss when watching the episode, unlike Lister scolding Rimmer for not eating on the right side of his mouth in Bodyswap, which is always notably absent for its relatability. Any deleted bits that catch you off guard?
