Broadcast in 1988, it was only released on VHS in 1993, and got its first repeat run in 1994. For five years, the series existed merely as fuzzy off-airs, passed around among fans with increasing generation loss. It'd be really odd if anything major linked to Red Dwarf was like that these days, wouldn't it? On an entirely unrelated matter, today's topic is Grant Naylor talent agency sitcom The 10%ers. Which has never had a commercial release or a repeat run. And seeing as it's 2019 and both are looking increasingly unlikely, we're going to be a little cheeky. It’s Still 2 Days… News Posted by Ian Symes on 9th December 2015, 20:20 ...until Red Dwarf has its next studio audience recording, but a) nobody seems to give a shit about our Friday morning posts this time round, and b) quite a bit of interesting news has emerged in the last couple of days. Rest assured that our set report will be arriving on Saturday, hopefully a little earlier in the day than normal and possibly done slightly differently to normal. But in the meantime, an intriguing nugget has emerged from Robert Llewellyn's latest Periscope (link only valid until Thursday morning, disposable media fans): They're on air next year. Even after Dwarf's triumphant return to our screens, it's still been nearly 20 years since we've seen anything written by Doug Naylor that doesn't contain those familiar four characters flying around in one of three spaceships. So now it's over to Over To Bill to see if the man who co-created one of the greatest sit-coms of all time can still conjure up compelling new characters and exciting fresh scenarios, in this one-off comedy drama. Did I ever tell you about Three Feet? News Posted by Ian Symes on 23rd February 2014, 20:34 More rumblings about the Naylors’ non-Dwarfy project, which is a relief considering we spent an hour watching The Alan Titchmarsh Show the other day in anticipation of a non-existent announcement. Naylor Minor today unveiled Three Feet Productions, a new production company founded by the father and son team, and presumably named after the total number of non-prosthetic lower leg appendages owned by the pair of them.
