I think the one that stands out the most is the Simulant missile attack in ‘The Beginning’. When Howard released all his Red Dwarf music online, i bought all of it and kind of ignored the X/XI stuff, but started listening to it today. I’m not sure what to think of it. I really am no expert in electronic music, but am i the only one who thinks he’s using the kind of synths that were around in the 1990s to make this music? It sounds rather old fashioned as electronic music goes. Or am i being too harsh? I understand Goodall is working with a reduced budget and lack of orchestra, or something, from one of his tweets. That said I don’t think the music is bad in any way, just more difficult to remember. I think I remember enjoying the music when Lister is in space in Fathers and Suns, vaguely August 27, 2018 at 6:43 pm #236559 Dax101Participant Part of the music where lister is in space is music before he flies into the scoop i have heard in a toy advert in the last few years and i dunno whether they got the music from Howard or whether Howard got it from somewhere else. The only music thats really stood out to me is from Give and Take as Starbug flies away from the explosion and flies beside Red Dwarf as it almost sounds Orchestric Author Replies Viewing 2 replies - 1 through 2 (of 2 total) Scroll to top • Scroll to Recent Forum Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
