The rings are replaced with onion rings, and the more you collect the fatter you get, reducing Sonic’s run speed and jump height. If you eat too many he becomes immobile. Do you play it on the computer or on a Playstation? Last I recall, he’d set up an emulator and was able to play it on his PC. July 15, 2010 at 2:12 pm #110166 Seb PatrickKeymaster Looks like it’s a Mega Drive ROM, so it should work on a PC-based emulator… July 17, 2010 at 1:19 am #110179 Ben PaddonParticipant I’ve been playing it on a Mega Drive emulator on the Wii using a Super Nintendo controller. July 17, 2010 at 5:08 am #110180 BlisschickParticipant Spoke with him last night, he said he got it to work and thought it was freakin’ hilarious! He loves the site and wonders why he never found it, since he loves playing Sonic anything. I told him he just wasn’t hanging with the right crowd. July 17, 2010 at 3:21 pm #110182 Ben PaddonParticipant FUCK. I keep keep going through his lengthy speed area in Aquatic Zone 1, and I reach the end of it to find I’m an immobile fat bastard stuck right next to a fucking ? TV that would take my weight away. July 17, 2010 at 4:36 pm #110183 BlisschickParticipant God, now I want to see it! I really suck at it, so I don’t dare try it myself. Oh, and my daughter misinformed me, so I looked like an idiot…I *knew* he’d played it on the old Sega Genesis, so I don’t know why I didn’t catch it before. “Sega” was one of the first words Greg learned…I don’t know if that’s sad or what. July 20, 2010 at 9:00 am #110220 Fluffy WokParticipant Did he sing it like they did in the old school games? That would be awesome If you see it now, (I know it more from the start of the Total War stuff they own now) its some guy with a voice so deep he’s choking on his own lung cancer. If he said it like that it would be scary July 20, 2010 at 4:00 pm #110236 BlisschickParticipant Yeah, it was the old school stuff from the early 90’s. It was really cute when he said it. I guess it’s a testament to how often we played the Sega. The hubby was a master at Sewer Shark, and me and my best friend were big into Columns. The hubby and me mostly played Toe Jam & Earl together. I still have the console and some of the games around, but I refuse to play TJ&E without the Game Genie, and I’ve yet to get off my butt and find another one.
