I’ll be getting this. September 16, 2008 at 1:30 am #84370 locusceruleusParticipant Christ, I feel sorry for the poor bastards who had to sort out the licensing arrangements for this. That said, I’ll be really looking forward to picking it up. September 16, 2008 at 8:13 am #84376 Zombie Jim UndeadParticipant Liked him from the very early days. Some of his later shows were a bit naff but TV burp is excellent. September 16, 2008 at 5:00 pm #84416 Pete Part ThreeParticipant I never really saw the stuff he did on Channel 4, it always looked a bit too daft. Then I caught the last five minutes of TV Burp a few years back (and that’s just as daft) and loved it. I don’t think anything else make me laugh out loud as regularly. September 16, 2008 at 6:01 pm #84426 ChrisMParticipant TV Burp is indeed very funny. I kind of went off of “You’ve been framed” (or whatever the current incarnation is called.) although I loved it when it first came out in the Beadle years. It got a bit too repetitive after a while. Then the girl from Emmerdale took over… I’ve seen one or two episodes narrated by Harry Hill though, and he certainly adds something to the show. Interesting how the narration can add to the humor. Not that I’m suddenly into it again… September 16, 2008 at 6:11 pm #84427 Pete Part ThreeParticipant I actually detest YBF with a passion, but can imagine that Hill is perfect for the show. September 17, 2008 at 8:22 am #84440 Zombie Jim UndeadParticipant He’s not as good as you’d imagine, though that’s defintely due to his obvious boredom. I loved it in TV burp when he was talking about the worst jobs in England – sould-destroying stuff and money for old rope then turns the camera and says “Which reminds me – new series of You’ve Been Framed next week!” September 17, 2008 at 10:00 am #84446 Ian SymesKeymaster You’ve Been Framed is one of the funniest shows on TV. Seriously. Author Replies Viewing 8 replies - 1 through 8 (of 8 total) Scroll to top • Scroll to Recent Forum Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
