I mean yeah, she may be ‘alf rung with Diabetes, and her eyes may be shot t’buggery, but she’ll still get up at stupid o’clock in the morning to watch people which around a fancy raceway for two (or whatever) hours. April 26, 2009 at 10:44 pm #98208 Seb PatrickKeymaster Yes. http://f1colours.wordpress.com/ April 27, 2009 at 2:14 am #98213 pfmParticipant lol April 27, 2009 at 10:55 pm #98234 Joey TORDFCParticipant Well you learn something new every day. Today I learnt that Seb is a geek. April 27, 2009 at 11:19 pm #98238 SomebodyParticipant Things are a bit quiet on the liveries front at the moment – those of us who?ve been hoping for a change to the Brawn livery have been sorely disappointed, although you?d hope that someone, somewhere back at the factory is working on something ready to roll out for the European races. We?ll see. Brawn can’t just change liveries on a whim, anyway, they would need the agreement of all the other teams (including the one run by a certain Mr Briatore) to do so during a season. The only reason they’d be likely to try is if they had a major sponsorship deal riding on it. April 28, 2009 at 12:11 pm #98247 NakrophileParticipant I prefer snooker. April 28, 2009 at 12:12 pm #98248 Seb PatrickKeymaster >Today I learnt that Seb is a geek. … she says, on a Red Dwarf fansite. April 28, 2009 at 6:42 pm #98259 ChrisMParticipant I don’t think I’d count F1/car racing and sports in general as geeky anyway. The cultural oposite in fact. Sci-fi tely and comics on the other hand… Oh. Wait. (Not that that’s a bad thing. Or people can’t like both.) April 28, 2009 at 9:41 pm #98280 Seb PatrickKeymaster No, I think she meant because I’m not just interested in F1, I’m interested in the colour schemes in which F1 teams paint their cars to a sufficient extent to start a blog about it. April 28, 2009 at 9:43 pm #98281 PhilParticipant Who farted? April 28, 2009 at 9:49 pm #98284 JamesTCParticipant >I don?t think I?d count F1/car racing and sports in general as geeky anyway. The cultural oposite in fact. Despite the fact they are basically the same thing, wear a sports related shirt and people make nothing of it, wear a sci-fi shirt and it is geeky. Not that I have any sci-fi or sports shirts myself, I have Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park shirts but you know, everybody loves Timmy and the Evil Monkey. April 28, 2009 at 10:42 pm #98287 ChrisMParticipant Yeah, that’s why I said ‘cultural oposites.’ You’re right though people are as fanatical about both. I guess if find sci-fi, fantasy, etc interesting as I like a good story. Sports to me is a lot of repetitive actions. I’m rubbish at it and I fid it boring to watch. That being said I’ve been to a football match and I can see somewhat what people see in it. The atmosphere is infectious. And there’s a bit of excitment when the ball is near the net… but after a while I end up like Moz and… Irish guy, in that episode of IT Crowd. No, I think she meant because I?m not just interested in F1, I?m interested in the colour schemes in which F1 teams paint their cars to a sufficient extent to start a blog about it. Ah, ok, fair enough. I visited the site, but I’ll admit I didn’t read it through… April 28, 2009 at 11:19 pm #98292 JamesTCParticipant Did you see that ludicrous display last night? I actually said that to someone and they said “I was at that ludicrous display last night”, I was amused.
