This episode certainly grabbed my attention when I first saw it. I held the series in very high regard until Mr Brittas was reconstructed without a belly button at the start of series 6. For it’s middle series it was a genuinely brilliant dangerous sitcom but with a good natured feel to it.

Phil: a) Thanks! and b) I actually thought similar once I’d finished it. Not sure I’d manage to find enough interesting to say that wouldn’t be repeating myself, but I might do a couple more at least.

Definitely doing some more sitcom reviews over on Dirty Feed, anyway!

Awesome. That was a great writeup, and I love seeing you dig into things like preconceived notions of what a sitcom can be / should be. I’d love to see you do something like this for the complete run of some show…but that’s just me being selfish. Whatever it ends up being, I’m positive it’ll be great.
