Sobering reminder that these things are complicated. You can have the show/s written, the cast can be available and willing, there can be a production company lined up, a broadcaster interested, and still there are hurdles. I really hope something gets agreed soon.

I read something about Naylor needing more money to make a convincing CGI 1988 Craig Charles. 

If that’s the main reason we haven’t had the next special yet, then someone needs to have an intervention with the man.

They would 10,000% be deepfaking that, not using CGI, which would be infinitely cheaper. And I’m pretty sure money was never mentioned in relation to that specifically, just in a broader “there’s no money in television in 2025” kind of way.
