January 31, 2009 at 12:31 pm #90250 thomasaevansParticipant Tis great. Your Series 9 promo is still the best. I watch It all the time, coz It gives me such a buzz. Its spot on! January 31, 2009 at 1:15 pm #90253 Seb PatrickKeymaster Nice one! What’s the “Dave font”, then? Would be good to have it if I’m going to redo that wallpaper… January 31, 2009 at 1:29 pm #90254 p2p_productionsParticipant Ha! Took me a while to source… http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/clarendon/clarendon-3615/ Speaking of wallpapers, how about that red Dave ident at the end of my vid? I could upload a higher quality version for the G&T downloads if anyone wants it. January 31, 2009 at 2:40 pm #90260 Seb PatrickKeymaster Yeah, that’d be quite neat. Can I be cheekily pedantic and ask if you could have it say Red Dwarf : Back to Earth instead of with a “…”, though? ;-) January 31, 2009 at 2:41 pm #90261 Seb PatrickKeymaster (and if you could do it in 1024×768 and 1280×1024, that’d be great. You can do 800×600 and/or bigger if you want, or widescreen versions, but those are the two that we want to offer as standard. So yeah, email them over and we’ll put ’em up straight away!) January 31, 2009 at 3:47 pm #90264 Jonathan CappsKeymaster > Red Dwarf : Back to Earth If we’re being REALLY pedantic, it should be Red Dwarf: Back To Earth. January 31, 2009 at 4:28 pm #90265 Seb PatrickKeymaster Actually, according to the Dave site, the “t” in “to” is lowercase :p January 31, 2009 at 4:47 pm #90268 hummingbirdParticipant >http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=tZEdK7wCUr0 Nice. January 31, 2009 at 5:05 pm #90269 CarlitoParticipant Lovely stuff. Not my words, the words of Shakin’ Stevens. What program do you use to edit these vids you make? January 31, 2009 at 5:18 pm #90270 p2p_productionsParticipant Abso-bloody-exactly. Latest version of Pinnacle, but I’ve found there are often sound issues when uploading to Youtube. Digital clicks, volume spikes, etc… I’ve used Ulead in the past – latest version should be pretty good. Thanks for the comments, guys! January 31, 2009 at 6:37 pm #90273 hummingbirdParticipant >but I?ve found there are often sound issues when uploading to Youtube I use Sony Vegas, but just lately I’ve had problems uploading to youtube as the sound goes out of sync. Pretty sure this is a youtube issue as it’s only started to happen recently. January 31, 2009 at 7:00 pm #90278 Pete Part ThreeParticipant Very nice. January 31, 2009 at 7:05 pm #90279 p2p_productionsParticipant > I use Sony Vegas, but just lately I?ve had problems uploading to youtube as the sound goes out of sync. Fortunately, I don’t ever recall suffering a synching error with YT. I know my particular sound issue stems from Pinnacle though, as the affected MP4HD renders suffer from clicks/spikes before I upload them. Never had that problem with Ulead… It’s something to do with mixing audio streams, I think. February 1, 2009 at 1:15 am #90313 Ben PaddonParticipant We had trouble uploading hi-res versions of Boomer’s Day Off to YouTube. Apparently HD stuff tends to desync, which is a problem with YouTube rather than whatever apps you’re using. We found a way around it, though. I’ll have to ask Michelle what she did. Drop me an email to remind me to ask her this weekend, as I’m down in San Diego to see her. February 1, 2009 at 3:20 am #90316 pfmParticipant > Apparently HD stuff tends to desync The BBC can’t even get their HD broadcasts in fucking sync. The number of times I’ve switched back to BBC1 because the lip sync issue was pissing me off so much… The BBC usually say something like ‘check your equipment’. Well why don’t they check their own, the numb fucks?? My setup is correct. They’re a broadcaster and they can’t broadcast a HD show with the A/V in sync. February 2, 2009 at 5:44 pm #90418 MnoooahParticipant Whey-hey! Very nice, P2P! You could rename your channel Wish Fulfillment Theatre. February 3, 2009 at 1:49 pm #90460 p2p_productionsParticipant Awww, shucks..!
