p2p_productionsParticipantVery nice work, indeed. Loving this pic…
May 17, 2010 at 5:56 pm #109748
hummingbirdParticipantI love the Dwarf itself – very cute!
May 17, 2010 at 6:14 pm #109749
ori-STUDFARMParticipantNo asteroid shaped pieces though!!

ParticipantTwo of my favourite things – combined! Those are really well done. The back booster of the Dwarf may be a wee bit longer than it should, but it’s so well put together, you can’t complain about it!
I imagine Starbug will be a bitch to pull off well in Lego.

hummingbirdParticipantI’d be tempted to have a go at the bunk room.
I once had way, way too much time on my hands and made the Swan hatch from Lost, complete with bunks, computer room and full compliment of Losties (and Henry Gale locked in the armoury!), so a RD interior should be do-able.
It’s just finding the time to do it :-/May 17, 2010 at 8:04 pm #109759

hummingbirdParticipantThat’s great. But what about the rest of the ship? :-)
The interior of Starbug would be fun, too.May 17, 2010 at 8:27 pm #109762
p2p_productionsParticipantHere’s a nice WIP Starbug on TOS… http://www.reddwarf.co.uk/forum/messages.cfm?threadid=9FB4EEC0-E558-7A23-F014E8147F9C1356

Oooh, nice.

Well, this went for a burn didn’t it?If you ever to decide to do it again I could let you have a load of bricks.

Danny StephensonKeymasterIf you ever to decide to do it again I could let you have a load of bricks.
How many bricks? :D. I’m serious :)
I’m always wanting to start, but we pretty much gave all of our lego to my nephew, bless him. Never a bad thing to introduce it to a new generation of people.
I know a lad who has TWO DUSTBUNS FULL of lego, but was refusing to let me buy it off him. So Close…

ori-STUDFARMParticipant>How many bricks?
5 Bricks! You’ll be rich!
May 18, 2010 at 5:22 pm #109771
hummingbirdParticipant> How many bricks? :D. I’m serious :)
I’ll weigh them tonight if you like.
Shame you didn’t mention it 6 months ago as I’ve already got rid of more than half of itMay 18, 2010 at 6:57 pm #109773
hummingbirdParticipantA little less than 9kg
May 19, 2010 at 10:37 am #109778
Seb PatrickKeymasterOH MAN. I’d try and outbid Danny if it weren’t for the greater good (although I’ve wanted to do something RD-related for ages myself. Though it’s possibly overruled by my wanting to do Ecto-1).
I’m going to Legoland next Friday! And then will probably have a lovely lamb lunch in the centre of Windsor.
May 19, 2010 at 11:36 am #109779
p2p_productionsParticipantAnd then perhaps onto the Wild Fowl park in Pepperstock with a bawtleah’skowtch!
May 19, 2010 at 4:30 pm #109782
ori-STUDFARMParticipantHow do you wear so little and still end up with whiter than white thighs!!?
May 19, 2010 at 4:47 pm #109783
hummingbirdParticipantPossibly the first recorded sighting of the mankini.
May 19, 2010 at 4:47 pm #109784
ori-STUDFARMParticipantMy Google Alert has now come up with a request on an origami forum for an origami Red Dwarf ship. This was unanswered, but there was a link to an origami Kryten……now I’m no expert or nothing, but I think this head may be slightly cubic!!
May 19, 2010 at 4:51 pm #109785
hummingbirdParticipant> now I’m no expert or nothing, but I think this head may be slightly cubic!!
I think they’ve oversimplified it a little. It would look better as a tetradecagon, (effectively shaving the corners off the cube).
May 19, 2010 at 5:28 pm #109786
p2p_productionsParticipantI’m sure I’ve mentioned this genius before… Ah, what the hell – let’s mention him again.

ori-STUDFARMParticipantFirst time I’ve seen that. Very impressive….and also, the first time I realised that the postal pod was based on a post-box. What a muppet!!

The greater good.

I only noticed that about a year ago, the model shot is particularly void of light bar the ‘thruster’ at the back of it…

How much spam have you been getting since 2004?
May 20, 2010 at 2:08 pm #109792
Danny StephensonKeymasterNot a right lot to be honest. I still use that email although not as much these days. But if i get an influx now, I blame you… :)
June 4, 2010 at 2:51 pm #109915
hummingbirdParticipantI still have that big box of Lego available, if anyone’s interested. Just let me know.
June 4, 2010 at 3:30 pm #109917
Danny StephensonKeymasterSeb, if you want da lego. Now’s your chance :)
June 6, 2010 at 9:54 am #109938
DaveParticipantI’d love to take it off your hands, if no one else wants it.
June 7, 2010 at 12:18 pm #109946
Seb PatrickKeymasterHow much do you want for it? Or how much do you reckon it’d cost to ship?
June 7, 2010 at 8:42 pm #109951
hummingbirdParticipantSorry about the delay in getting back to you, but my internet connection has been down for the last couple of days.
Going by the royal mail website, shipping is going to be expensive: 9kg by parcelforce will be about £12-£15.
I’m not sure what the going rate for Lego is … make me an offer? ^_^June 11, 2010 at 11:20 pm #109963

Lego Indiana jones – Rimmer Salute Egg. Anyone got this to test?
June 12, 2010 at 5:51 am #109953
Ben PaddonParticipantI had it but I traded it in.
June 12, 2010 at 2:49 pm #109965
