Great speech. Meanwhile Steve Coogan is appearing on Newsnight/ Question Time slagging off the right and Murdock …..whilst his new show starts on Sky Atlantic. Still, I enjoyed Coogan getting bitch slapped by Kirsty Allsopp on Question Time. Used to have time for Coogan, but not anymore. Just another hypocritical Champagne Socialist.

Coogan makes some good points whenever he’s on these programs and I respect him for standing up like that. But you’re right, i can’t figure out how he can justify allowing Partridge on Sky. It really undermines all the other stuff he says.

I have this issue out all the time with a mate of mine. I don’t read or agree with Murdoch but ill take his money! Hypocrite? Yes, to a degree. Although I like to think of it as business. You can’t be a moral crusader AND make a living… Where would your outrage end? “I disagree with the Badger cull, so I’m moving to a more thoughtful, left wing country…”
