This is an odd description, because I always thought the shot of the crashed Starbug at the start of Terrorform…

…was just this shot reused from Bodyswap, (with a bit of swamp layered onto the background)?

Is it referring to another shot from Terrorform? Or was there a further model shoot that didn’t make it into the finished episode? If so, how can it be screen matched? Hmmmm.

So it’s “screen matched” to a screen that’s not showing any Red Dwarf episodes.

I do wonder why they changed the shot. Maybe they worried that it isn’t recognisable enough as Starbug/a crashed ship in the deleted version because it’s so wrecked?

It certainly feels more consistent with the damage Kryten sustained, since the viewport is all smashed and it looks more likely he got thrown clear on impact.
