How Music Works With Howard Goodall

I downloaded the episodes for “How Music Works” months ago, but because of college and what-not, I never got the chance to watch them. Until Now…. What an amazing fucking programme this is, I’m not quite sure why I like it but I can guess that the fundamental aspect is its told to us by:

a) Howard Goodall, who, and lets be fair to him, is a complete genius, and

b) is very engaging and

c) I love music!!

If you haven’t seen the programme, DO! QUICK! GO NOW!

I’m off to find out if it’s available on DVD. I doubt it, with copyright of the musical examples used…

I really need to download this series, or something, as I stupidly missed it when it was on. I did, however, rewatch his Beatles episode of 20th Century Greats the other night, though – fuck me that’s a damn, DAMN good show.
