For TOTP or anything really I imagine it’s because there’s no reason to spend resource editing a program for repeat when skipping it makes absolutely zero difference to anyone’s lives.

You know, everyone talks about the excellent extended Rimmer/Lister dialogue scenes in Marooned, but you never see much attention given to the slapstick.
