It’s been a long road, but I’m proud to say the day has finally arrived…

I’d like to personally thank everyone for their support and help through this amazing experience; and sincerely hope that everyone enjoys reading it as much as I did writing it.

I’m getting it for the Foreward.

    >I’m getting it for the Foreward.

Ugh…that guy? Couldn’t you have gotten someone who knows what he’s talking about? Like Pecos Pete?

    Or Tonguetied.

So… Who got the book(s) for the holidays? =D

    International Debris

Both were under the tree for me. Wonderful stuff – learning a lot as I’m a relative stranger to the Smegazines and games. Feel it might take me a very long time to get through. This is a good thing, of course. Top work!

Feel free to review the book(s) on Amazon if you enjoyed them!

If you didn’t, well, then, kindly stick your head in the ship’s waste grinder. =)

Planning on picking them up Eventually™. Just as soon as I’ve moved into a new apartment and wept at my new state of financial ruination.

HEY ALL! The addendum to the Red Dwarf Encyclopedia is now available for download on Hasslein Books’ Resources page. This addendum adds entries for material that came out after the books’ release (meaning, to date, the DJ Posters). The direct link is here:

Also, please bookmark the Resources page ( and check back in for updates as new material comes in. Enjoy!

Having an addendum is wonderful. The work that has gone into this whole project is amazing.

I just saw this on Facebook. Since he was active here I thought maybe folks would want to know. My thoughts are with his family for sure. I never met him but we spoke a few times — including once about a cool project that never got off the ground — and he seemed like a really great guy. Pretty sad.

    Hello Friends and Family,
It saddens me beyond words to share with you the passing of my dear brother Paul Giachetti.
    Our family is devastated.
Paul truly defined what life was about.
His kindness, good nature, generosity, and humor will live on with those who knew him.

    Arrangements are as follows:
    Monday, August 7
    2:00pm – 4:00pm
    7:00pm – 9:00pm
    Massapequa Funeral Home
1050 Park Blvd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762

    Tuesday, August 8
    St. Rose of Lima Church
2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758

    St. Charles Cemetery
2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735

There will be photo boards if you would like to share your memories. Please put your name and address on the back of the photo so we can mail it back to you.

In lieu of flowers our family is asking you to make a donation to a charity of your choosing. We can’t think of a better way to honor Paul and his generosity towards others.

RIP very sad news. His work on the encyclopedia was heroic
