On further investigation there, according to them, the first 3 series of Red Dwarf has the American cast. Our boys don’t turn up until series 4!

I’m half inclined to drop em a line but mon francais est rubbish.

Anyway, close up pics of the DVD covers in france reveal http://www.we-prod.com which has each opening sequence of Red Dwarf with 5 & 6’s Red Bars cropped. Interesting to see.

OH… and Red Dwarf in france has the remastered episodes in place of original 1 – 3. I own 1. THe menus are completley different, but rather good.

Terrifyingly – yes. I’ve been asking about international releases for ages, but GNP actually weren’t TOLD about the release of VII or VIII (which is why VII is covered as well)!

No big deal, you may think. But have a look at just how wrong BBCW have got their information on those two sleeves. Really should have sent them for approval…
