Thought “Mum” would be better. Any other episodes you think would suit a different name, and what? The implications… the even greater disappointment and/or confusion. I agree that “Can of Worms” is a poor title, but I don’t think I’d support “Mum” either, because the episode isn’t really about motherhood. It’s not even about fatherhood that much. My third option title is “Polymorph III – MPreg II”. Here are some suggestions for other episodes in no particular order: Cured -> Here No Evil Thanks for the Memory -> Thanks for the Memories Gunmen of the Apocalypse -> Cowboys from the Dwarf Fathers & Suns -> Dad Rimmerworld -> Custer’s Revenge Meltdown -> War & Peace Beyond a Joke -> Green Kryten Duct Soup -> Lie Hard (… or Kry Hard) Fathers & Suns -> Tony Blue -> The One With The Rimmer Munchkin Song Emohawk – Polymorph II -> Something Borrowed October 28, 2022 at 9:54 pm #278994 Future Producer of Series IX – aaaaany day nowParticipant Personally, I think they missed a trick not calling it A Fistful of Dollarpounds. (it being Gunmen of the Apocalypse, as if it weren’t obvious from the inference) October 28, 2022 at 9:57 pm #278996 Future Producer of Series IX – aaaaany day nowParticipant Meltdown -> War & Peace More like War & Pieces October 29, 2022 at 6:16 am #279000 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant Meltdown should have been called Robot Wars. October 29, 2022 at 12:38 pm #279008 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant Or on account if there Not being a Star in it. October 29, 2022 at 6:41 pm #279013 loadoftottnumbParticipant Didn’t we do this already? The End = Radiation Leak Me2 = Rimmers The Last Day = Hudzen DNA = Polaroid Head Demons and Angels = Triple Threat Emohawk-Polymorph II = Mrs Lister Blue = The Rimmer Experience Back in the Red Part 3 = FFS it’s still going? What sort of sitcom series opens up with a 3 parter? The payoff is a callback to one line from Rimmer in the first scene, about an hour and a half of program ago. Back to Earth = Earth 2009 Dear Dave = Charades Can of Worms = Pipe Dream Timewave = Critical The Promised Land = Red Dwarf 13, The Cat People. There you go, one from each series, some serious, some not.
